veggie diets can be pretty good (the housemate who was veggie always cooked way nicer things than me and always had spare, so I lived off that for a while)

I'm sure I read somewhere though that if you go without meat for long enough, it becomes poison to your body. Although that does sound like complete bollocks to me.

My brother lived on vegetables for 15 years and cracked eventually and has gone totally the other way. I got a text about how he has 'a heart in the freezer' once.

I'd be in favour of in vitro meat if more work was done to produce it on a large scale without the additives and hormones that turn anyone who eats it into a swelling, Tetsuo-like blob.
