Took my daughter to the Science Museum, watched the rugby, cooked & ate duck, got drunk, fell over.

The end.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:38, Reply)
I went to the Horniman Museum on Saturday.
When your kid's a bit older she'll fucking love it there. Assuming I ever see my daughter again I'm going to take her there straight away. The only problem with it is the SE23 postcode.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:40, Reply)
Horny man you say.
Both of your daughters, eh?
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:41, Reply)
You lunch cancelling prick.

I have got the shakes this morning.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:41, Reply)
I can't understand why I don't.
I had three beers and a dab of my home-made chilli sauce for breakfast and things did not exactly improve from there on.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:44, Reply)
They'll probably kick in later when your alcohol level drops.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:45, Reply)
I think I have a good few hours before that joy.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:45, Reply)
I had about 8 pints of cider and a bottle of claret.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:49, Reply)
On Saturday we made a green chilli paste with 125 of those Indian finger chillis in it.
It is fucking terrifying.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:52, Reply)
WANT.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 8:53, Reply)
It looks kind of like pesto.
It's pale green rather than bright green because we left all the seeds in.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:02, Reply)
I like this
One of the lads in work did the "Curry Hell" challenge a few months ago and as part of his training made a series of hotter and hotter curries. His last one had 50 birds eye chillis in - it was fucking lovely, if a bit heavy on the cinnamon
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:03, Reply)
I want to make my own lime pickle, but make it lime & chilli pickle.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:05, Reply)
*orders jar*

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:07, Reply)
I made a chilli sauce/preserve with home-grown 'Basket of fire' chillis instead of the Jalapenos the recipe suggested
Psychotically hot. I found it inedible/unusable so I gave it away to a chilli-loving friend. He says he likes it, I'm not so sure.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:07, Reply)
I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with this paste.
We bought two massive bags of chillies for £1 per bag in Whitechapel, one contains a good 30 scotch bonnets and the other must have 350 green ones. We'll dry some and have some fresh, but we've got more than we could possibly need. Then we went to Sainsbury's next door = 5 scotch bonnets for £1.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:07, Reply)
Pickle some

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:08, Reply)

Half a ton?
Most b3tans weigh that
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:29, Reply)
YM does.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:32, Reply)
half a ton is 7 people of average weight
so not OTT in a car if you load it evenly.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:32, Reply)
It's 5 rugby players. Actually, 4 rugby players might weigh that much.

HIYAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great weekend, thanks for asking.
I went to Whitby and didn't see a single goth.
We stayed right next to Whitby Abbey and it was 'well good'

Alt: Me-land has all sorts of excitement planned including, but not limited to, a parents evening at my son's school and Mrs Tangle's birthday.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:37, Reply)
I'm in a fucking foul mood this morning.
Couldn't get to sleep last night. Was still awake at nearly three. Woken up at five, six, and seven o'clock by the dog - the last time because he wanted to be sick.

To top that all off, I kept dreaming that I had to get up early for something important and I couldn't sleep. Even my dreams hate me.

Alt: last week someone bought me the latest edition of the parachute book. This week I intend to read it, and fully expect to be gainfully employed by Friday.
(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:46, Reply)
Time to take it down to the pier with a large sack and some bricks.

(, Mon 11 Feb 2013, 9:48, Reply)
