i dated someone who kept chickens once. i found them quite endearing. although worryingly happy to sit and peck at my diet coke can for about 2 hours, not bothered that it wasn't edible, not bothered that they weren't getting anywhere, just repetitively peckpeckpecking.

(and the 'zero' ones that taste just like the ones with the sugar in) taste way too sweet. The taste of diet coke is nice and sharp and just hits right at the back of your throat.
In the next few years, almost all saccharines will probably be replaced with stevia anyway. Isn't that supposed to be a lot less harmful?

probably not, all the substutes are junk anyway, and worryingly carcenogenic, generally leading down the route to diabetes in any event

I should be the queen of diabetes. But I just had a bunch of blood tests done a couple of weeks ago and I'm disappointingly healthy.

Fat, fair, and forty.
Have you been tested recently? I know you don't fall into those groups, but it wouldn't hurt to know.

where the scientists who proved that nutrasweet caused cancer in rats were mysteriously found dead?

I think modern life must cause cancer.
