I don't agree with the death penalty at all.
But there's very little excuse to do that. I went through that part of the world last year and everyone says "for gods sake don't take drugs, they will kill you for it" It was even mentioned on the plane coming into Dubai.
I've heard if you want to get rid of something on the plane no questions asked the cabin crew will do it and put it in some sort of secure bins before customs when you land.
