I'm frequently astonished by the length, thickness and quantity of hair that my nostrils can produce.
Alt: YES! Also, soya.

Soya mince is surprisingly palatable
When cooked in sufficient chillies, obviously
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:03, Reply)
I made a fucking lush chilli the other week
Slow cooked for 8 hours

I've said it before.
While Nottingham is technically in the Midlands, its heart is in the North.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:10, Reply)
Damn right
But tell that to anyone from outside of Notts and THEY JUST DON'T GET IT
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:11, Reply)
I saw tindersticks in Nottingham once
True story.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:13, Reply)
I saw them in Camber Sands once and also in Coventry once.
Do you want to touch me?
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:16, Reply)
Yes, but that's not the reason.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:17, Reply)
I'll be honest, I don't really remember much about the Camber Sands one.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:18, Reply)
I saw one of their records for sale once
‘Wow, what really shit name for a band’, I thought, ‘they sound like a bunch of jangly indie bedwetters, I’ll bet they are’, I said to myself.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:20, Reply)
Pity you didn't buy it.
You could have sold it for a tidy profit.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:22, Reply)
+ to a prick

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:23, Reply)
That goes without saying.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:24, Reply)
It really is a shite name for a band
and inevitably makes me think of "Pictures of Matchstick Men"
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:22, Reply)
Given your tastes, you can't really comment on shite band names.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:26, Reply)
I'll give you that
Although most of the bands I like with shit names at least have the defence that English isn't their first language
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:28, Reply)
So do tindersticks

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:30, Reply)
I was also in Nottingham once.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:17, Reply)
Man we all have so much in common!

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:18, Reply)

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:21, Reply)
oi Darth!
You know you paid nearly a fiver a pint in Shopkeepers? You big gay twat, that's the most expensive one they do, some American 'craft beer'. If you'd had Leeds Pale or sutin like that you'd have paid about 3 quid.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:10, Reply)
Yeah but I'd never tried it
And never will again, at those prices
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:17, Reply)
Quality costs, stick with carling if you don't like that concept

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:18, Reply)
Don't mind it at all, it's reassuring frankly
I don't mind paying over the odds for a really nice pint, but for the best part of a fiver, in fucking LEEDS, I expected it to make me taller or thinner or more handsome as I drank it, and although it did do that, it wore off as soon as I sobered up.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:21, Reply)
I wouldn't expect to pay over a fiver for Leeds itself.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:22, Reply)
Exactly my point
When I handed over my cash I couldn't help but wonder how much it would have cost in London. Was tempted to ask if I got free refills.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:24, Reply)
Jesus wept it's like a fiver, if that's a sticking point get yourself a litre of glens for twelve quid and stop up at home

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:25, Reply)
Yes Rory. We get it. You're rich. Well done.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:27, Reply)
I DONT GO TO PUBS ACTUALLY

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:27, Reply)
THEN YOU DON'T KNOW MAN
YOU WEREN'T THERE
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:29, Reply)
I'm supposed to be going to not one but several 'pubs' on Saturday, in Southampton, on a 'stag do'
Ive used up all my best excuses not to go already :((

I hear GOUT is a good excuse at the moment

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:38, Reply)

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:35, Reply)

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:25, Reply)
I'd fucking love to spend 3.90 on a pint of anything.
Even piss. I'd fucking smile whilst drinking my 3.90 pint of piss.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:26, Reply)
Beer in my local is £3.70
Having said that, most people would pay more than £5 a pint just to be NOT drinking in Weston.
(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:27, Reply)
I spent the best part of 20 quid on two drinks last weekend.

(, Wed 10 Apr 2013, 15:28, Reply)
