A thread with a question time
So which prick thinks this is a good idea?
metro.co.uk/2013/04/11/from-hot-pink-hotpants-to-juicy-orange-flip-flops-get-the-glow-down-on-fluoro-fashion-3591097/
The days of Ocean Pacific T-shirts, Boat shoes and white cotton jackets with the sleeves rolled up may once again be thrust upon us. Which brings me onto fashion do’s and fashion don’ts what fashion did you get into that still makes you cringe to this day?

Alt: Chicken Thursday how are you going to celebrate it?

Altalt: I don’t know make up your own you lazy cunts, do I have to do everything round here?

Chicken Thursday!?
Well I plan to celebrate by convincing my missus this is a real thing, so we can have southern fried chicken for dinner.

MY VERY NOSE. This is why I don't shave often...I don't trust myself. Every time I pick up a razor, I'm worried it'll be the last thing I ever do.

Hmmm, a goat eh?
Is there a place one can hire goats? Goats R Us perhaps? I'll look into this. There could be an opening in the market for short-term rental of goats and/or other ruminants.

Lots of Warwickshire has CV postcodes.
We really should be the principal city of Warwickshire again and disassociate ourselves from that West Midlands rabble.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe
Greebos on fire off the shoulder of the Bull Ring. I've watched Chris Cornell pissing in the dark near Turnpike Lane. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears... in rain. Time to die.

I love this

(, Thu 11 Apr 2013, 9:54, Reply)
The thing is
Having done my time at Neds, Poppies and Wonderstuff gigs, I can pretty much guarantee I have actually seen Greebos on fire.

(, Thu 11 Apr 2013, 9:56, Reply)
I went to see a Neds gig at Wolverhampton Civic Hall
when they were years past their "popular" prime. WCH has a capaity of several thousand and there were maybe 800 or so there. It's the only time I've ever seen a 3 deep, 200 wide mosh pit with nothing at all behind it. It's a lot of dedication to music that can only be described as screaming over the sound of three bass guitars being thrown down a metal waste disposal chute.
(, Thu 11 Apr 2013, 10:00, Reply)
I saw The Wonder Stuff and Jesus Jones at that very same venue about 12 years ago
Christ that was awful.
(, Thu 11 Apr 2013, 10:20, Reply)
I rather like Jesus Jones

(, Thu 11 Apr 2013, 10:21, Reply)
The thing is
Wonderstuff were a pretty good live experience, in the early 90s, if you were 18. Even Neds and Poppies were OK with the right crowd

I would imagine with them and me having aged 10 years in 2000, all the appeal would have gone.
(, Thu 11 Apr 2013, 10:47, Reply)
I didn't really like them much in the first place
I only went to the reunion tour to accompany a mate.
Whatever appeal they may have had was almost certainly gone though.

I mean I should invest in a tracksuit at some point, if only to fit in amongst the yokels around here

Turkey eggs are huge!
