Once you've been working for more than a couple of years, in most cases university is irrelevantIt's not the hindrance you think it is, I reckon. Having some nebulous specialist knowledge of an academic subject (like I do) isn't worth shit compared with a proven track record of work.

it's possible, to be honest, my best bet is to get in with one of the colleges, get on a more settled rota, and then get in to the OU for something i really want to do. Although, this might all settle down in a couple of days and i just go back to doing what i've always done
