I can go whenever. It's just a case of when we see somewhere decent, really.

is that it's not far to travel.

That and the possibility of a couple of free glasses of low quality fizzy white wine.

£1343 to over 3k/month for a two-bedroom place? Worked out thus(£weeklyx52/12). Glad I don't have to live there!
Edit - my place - a 3 bed semi with garage & gardens = less/month than the expensive one is/week!

I've just done a gaff broadly similar to the Canning Town one today in the centre of Leeds for £850 a month.

Dozer gets evangelical about it, despite not living there.

If it had another bedroom it would be perfect for me. I love it all the more now Lusty lives with me, it looks more homely and I love turning off the street into my block. One of the best things I did was to get extra record storage as my racks were full and I had hundreds more on the floor.
I am not the neighbour from hell any more, but I was for years. I genuinely believed my flat was pretty much soundproof for the first five years of living there, never had a peep out of anyone.
( , Wed 15 May 2013, 17:10, Reply)

Ya get me?
( , Wed 15 May 2013, 17:14, Reply)

But I happen to know that the throws, cushions and accent wall were all there before Lusty moved in.

It's a nice flat these days - I think those people off here who've been round would support this assertion. Unless they were being all edgy and 'funny'.

Yeah well I rent innit, me and my flatmate and his ex girlfriend who'll be moving out in a couple of weeks. Going home's ACE

I'm not the neighbour from hell - I'm a saint! My neighbours share my taste in music, even though their attempts to join in with the drum solos (by banging on the wall at 3 a:m) are a little out of time, I'm sure they appreciate my sharing nature.
( , Wed 15 May 2013, 17:12, Reply)

I'm very hard of hearing. Part hereditary and partly because of my years DJing in loud clubs and pubs. I live right next to a student house that throws mid week parties as standard.
I can't even hear them when I take my hearing aids out.
(As if I just admitted that on here)

You cant even see these hearing aids though. Right in the ear they are.

I spent about a month on a site, went back'n'forth with the client, got it all perfectly spot on. Everything was happy days as far as I knew. Everything was signed off as far as I knew.
One of the client's staff just asked me to do a change, so I go to do the change and....it turns out that they've had the site re-created (except they made some mistakes when copying my work) on a different platform by a different agency. Everyone in my company is like WTF? except one of the bosses seems to know but hasn't said anything to me yet.
I don't really get why someone would do that.
( , Wed 15 May 2013, 17:35, Reply)

....why would someone throw that down the drain just to recreate it, which aspheticly looks identical (minus their mistakes in copying me), on a different platform like that?

The other platform they've gone for (Wordpress) is the one I specalise in, I only used the platform I used (Umbraco) because thats what they wanted, and they wanted it all microsoft. I guess they didn't want out mantainance or hosting maybe? I donno, thats not down to me.

( , Wed 15 May 2013, 17:37, Reply)

But the houses are a tad old and some are as cold as charity. Plus the parking can be a nightmare.
