You should be able to claim it as a creditor
If they really have gone under then you need to get the claim in asap and you will be a priority creditor, they normally do individuals ahead of company

employees are preferred creditors
so your salaries are at the top of the chain and get paid as a priority. but only if there are funds, and only pro-rata as to what is available, and it might take ages.

have you tried contacting anyone at those branches?
Did you get the details of the people that came in?
Did you check any information they gave you? ID etc.
