What are your views on nuclear power?
Good, bad or don't really care?
I've always been pretty against, as a general hippy principle, but we're running out of resources, coal gas etc, and solar wind and wave are pretty fucking useless. They may be viable one day, but at present they're shit.
www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/344744/George-Osborne-to-give-the-ok-for-Chinese-nuclear-power-stations-to-be-built-in-the-UK
What do you think about a foreign power operating a nuclear facility here? Good bad or don't give a flying one?
Alt, I've some spare cash, what should I buy? I don't actually need anything, just something nice and wasteful.

Oh, Pooks.
Dunno, don't care.

Probs into share account, since I started dabbling, I've mads a few quid, mainly osmall penny stuff, mining stuff.
High risk, small stakes, but it's been ok so far.
(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:31, Reply)
I did quite well out of AFC Energy a couple of years back.
Worth researching.
(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:34, Reply)
Nice work.
My visit to the bookies is usually a pre match exercise, fiver down and between 6 and 8 results chosen. Had quite a few returns already this season. Nothing in the thousands though. Several 'few hundred quid' wins have kept me interested.
(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:29, Reply)
This was a silly 12 point accumulator.
£2,00 stake, pulled in £1453.72. I have a silly bet every week.
(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:34, Reply)
That's fantastic.
Well done.

(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:42, Reply)
They have a limit of 100k on sports I think.
Although Fred's managers seem to have a leeway on cash stuff from shops.
(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:46, Reply)
Nah, I meant what did you bet on?

(, Mon 14 Oct 2013, 19:50, Reply)
Oh sorry, was all correct scores and first goalscorers, and a few both to score things.
As I say, I have a daft one every week, and this finally took it :)

Look, just because Chompy's gone, doesn't mean that some prick HAS to keep poking all this ill-infromed hand-wringing shit.
At least when Chompy was here it stopped at 5.

I love nuclear power especially when people pronounce it 'nucular'
Dungeoness on the Kent coast has views of a power station undergoing recommissioning to die for. And you get to see the only desert in Great Britain. Go to the Pilot inn for extremely average scampi and chips, mushy peas are an option but I had normal peas because they are the best vegetable. I haven't been drinking.

I might watch Crimewatch this evening.
It's the Maddie Special.

Not because I care about the case, but because I took a holiday there a year after she went missing so it'll be nice to see how it has changed.

And raped.

I bought a pair of properties about 12 years ago for 33. Coronation Street terraces, needed some work, but sold on for a few quid.
Luckily a housing association had bought up the area, and wanted them.
