So how did the storm affect yew?
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24723028
Badly, slightly or not at all? It rained quite a bit here, but it's fucking Manchester in October, what do yew expect?
Alt, are yew a gossip? Enjoy talking about others and hearing about what others have been up to? I'm not too keen on that frogface I have to say. Him and his trains.

It got windy for a couple of hours and then stopped.
Hardly what it was built up to be.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 7:58, Reply)
It didn't get me at all, I slept through it.

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:00, Reply)
It knocked one of my plants over
I brought it inside. The end.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 9:14, Reply)
Alt: I do like to hear gossip, but I'm very reluctant to spread it.
And yeah, that train frog can't be trusted.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 7:59, Reply)
I'm the same. I like to be in the know, but I'll keep a secret.

it was rainy up here
But down south it killed four people.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:03, Reply)
Weather only makes the news if it's down South
People in Orkney are probably wondering what all the fuss is about, normal autumn weather for them.
Don't know why the BBC don't change their name to South East Broadcasting, cos that's what they are most of the time.....

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:10, Reply)
well of course
But the storm didn't even make it to the north of England, let alone Scotland.

Is that Glenlivet you had alright? Think my next whisky will be Balvenie Signature. Nearly finished my doublewood.

Down south the storm killed two people
The other two died of either being an idiot or having idiots responsible for them.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:12, Reply)
No real storm up here
Rained a bit, the winds were light, all a bit meh.

Alt: No. There are very few people I give 1/16 of a shit about so gossip bores the shaven nads off me.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:10, Reply)

A tree fell on my car (nil damage!), fence panel blew down. All the pears off a tree in the road fell off. Tremendously exciting stuff.
Alt: I like to know what's going on, other peoples lives are more interesting than mine, but I am also discreet and keep secrets despite holding all sorts of dirt on people. Probably goes both ways though.

"Celeb" goszip is the worst. The amount of magazines dedicated to this, someone who used to ne on Hollyoaks wearing a bikini,
someone who gobbled a footballer...fucking hell. All filed under "women's interest" too. Most women I know couldn' t give a fuck. And Hollyoaks, ick, Fucking horrible show.

Alt: Did you hear what happened between [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]?
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:36, Reply)
I'm certainly enjoying all the righteous moaning from the provincials about London-centric media.

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:38, Reply)
'all the righteous moaning from the provincials'
Yeah! One reply and a '^^this^^'.
Loads of moaning right there.
Soft southern twat.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:45, Reply)
Fuck off Reg - b3ta isn't the universe.
I have plenty of provincial friends and family, and they're all moaning about it. My mum particularly. When I told her London's the political and financial hub of the country, and therefore all the most important people have business here, so it's understandable the media is London-centric, she disagreed, for example.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:47, Reply)
Nobody mentioned London.
Centrist paranoia right there.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:48, Reply)
See above.
I'm surrounded by the bloody things.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:59, Reply)
We seem to get the weak tail end of all the headline weather here
Someone at work reported their wheelie bin tipped over yesterday. When snow grinds the rest of the country to a halt we've barely enough to make a snowball.

Alt: Gossip? Even in a Bela Tarr film I'd be the weirdo that doesn't talk much
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 8:53, Reply)
I like a bit of gossip as most of the time I have no clue what is going on
