Fucking right, doesn't it.
Maybe one day.

I don't know what you're talking about.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:19, Reply)
It's like an episode of The Persuaders around Kroney's "gaff".

I just need multiple millions and an American sidekick.
A couple of grand and a rani flatmate just don't cut it.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:38, Reply)
RANI?
Neau wai!
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:41, Reply)
Smelly food.

Do you get decent home cooked curries?

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:45, Reply)
Absolutely, though she has to do mine separately at four stops reduced
because full potency literally makes me cry.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:46, Reply)
Though I don't get any raisins in it. Bitch.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:47, Reply)
Hahahaha.
You were crying like a pussy! That must get your chilli tolerance up.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:50, Reply)
I haven't been brave enough to try full power again after that.
I felt like I'd been drinking acid.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:52, Reply)
I tried that in Thailand.
"I'll have it Thai strength".

It made me spew up there and then. The little kids eat it!
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:55, Reply)
Not the spew.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:55, Reply)
I've wanted a Stag since I was 13.
That is an early and long running mid life crisis.

Looks like you can get a reasonable one for about 8 grand.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:42, Reply)
Yeah, or I could get a ratty one for 3 and change everything but the body shell.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:45, Reply)
There is a total ground up rebuild on Autotrader for 25 grand!

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:51, Reply)
That'd eat a little too far into my mortgage fund.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 16:53, Reply)
how have you got that fund invested?
If it's sitting in cash then you should really move it into a balanced portfolio of roughly 20% property, 20% fixed interest, 20% overseas equity and 40% UK equities.

In an ISA and the rest in the same proportions in an OEIC.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 17:00, Reply)
Be sensible Plummy!
How is he going to fit that lot under his mattress?
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 17:03, Reply)
It's sitting in cash, spread out over various bank accounts
that offer between .75 and 3%

My ISA doesn't seem to want to take my money. That's at 1.5, though. Doesn't seem that great.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2014, 17:07, Reply)
cash ISAs are pointless.
You can put 11520 in a stocks and shares ISA, and the another 11880 in April. Assuming you follow that investment split, you should make about 10% over a year. Could drop in value though, but unlikely in a rising market such as we have now.

You're currently losing money as you're not getting above 3% net.
