Hong Kong's hot and sweaty and occasionally typhoony(!) at this time of year. It's also really interesting to see so much humanity cramped into such a small piece of land, together with the huge (and I mean MASSIVE) disparities between those at the top of the pile and those at the bottom, all of whom live so close together. Almost makes me want to be a socialist!

Because, if left to go stale, they go hard. If a biscuit is left to go stale, it goes soggy. They paid scientist huge wads of cash in brown envelopes to prove that.
And let that be an end of it.
MY TOP BISCUITS:
1) Chocolate Hob-Nobs
2) Bourbons
3) Jaffa Cakes
4) Garibaldi
5) Millionaire Shortbread
EDIT:
Damn, liveinabin got there first.
Also, I think short bread is made out of short pastry, meaning it is a kind of bread but is more biscuity. I am probably very wrong!

Perceived ambiguity of "that"
Each verse comprises two things that he would do for love, followed by one thing that he would not do. It is that latter part of each verse that is the "that" of the title. However, some people misunderstand the lyrics, claiming that the singer never identifies what the "that" is which he is unwilling to do.[9] Steinman predicted this confusion during production.[10] An early episode of the VH1 program Pop-up Video made this claim at the end of the song's video: "Exactly what Meat Loaf won't do for love remains a mystery to this day."[11] A reviewer writing for Allmusic also misunderstood the lyric, commenting that "The lyrics build suspense by portraying a romance-consumed lover who pledges to do anything in the name of love except "that," a mysterious thing that he will not specify."[7] While the reviewer concludes that the mystery is revealed during the closing stages of the song, it is not observed that "that" is revealed in every chorus throughout.
Although some people assume that "that" is an exophoric reference to a sex act,[12] it is actually an anaphoric reference to the varying activities and feelings that are specified as antecedents in the lyric that the singer says that he won't do.
Jimmy always said, "You know what? Nobody's gonna get it." And he was right.
Meat Loaf[10]
"I'll never lie to you ..."
"I'll never forget the way you feel right now ..."
"I'll never forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight ..."
"I'll never do it better than I do it with you ..."
"I'll never stop dreaming of you every night of my life ..."
In addition, the female vocalist identifies two other things that the lead singer denies that he will do: "You'll see that it's time to move on" and "You'll be screwing around." To both of these, the lead singer emphatically responds, "I won't do that! No, I won't do that!"
Meat Loaf says that the question "what is 'that'?" is one of the most popular questions he is asked.[12] In his 1998 VH1 Storytellers special, he even explained it on stage using a blackboard and a pointing stick. In a 1993 promotional interview, Steinman states that the definition of "that" is fully revealed in the song in each of the several verses in which it is mentioned.
It's sort of is a little puzzle and I guess it goes by - but they're all great things. 'I won't stop doing beautiful things and I won't do bad things.' It's very noble. I'm very proud of that song because it's very much like out of the world of Excalibur. To me, it's like Sir Lancelot or something - very noble and chivalrous. That's my favorite song on the record - it's very ambitious.[13][14]

Fabulous opener that. P'raps the 'ginuwine little metal' community should look into a bash based around a Tool gig or band of similar quality, Opeth, Deftones, The Mars Volta, Porcupine Tree...
I'd book a plane ticket for that.

Clutch wasnt me - I think you pricked your ears up to dEUS on my reccy.
Clutch I will investigate given I've just read Per Wiberg of Opeth collaborated with them. Funny how association works.
I dont like the first two Deftones record - White Pony and Deftones are my preferred ones. Saturday Night Wrist has moments but should have been mostly a Team Sleep (Chino's other band) record for my 2 cents.

But "Kaol" is an honary title, passed down from gentleman to gentleman, throughout the ages.
The new Kaol must challenge the old one to a duel with knives.
To the death.
Previous Kaols include Kaol "Jack the Ripper" Smith, Grigori Kaol Rasputin, Gengis Kaol Kahn and of course Vlad "the Impaler" Kaol Tepes.
So yeah... Now you know. It's older than 14 years.

Okey dokey!
Noel Edmonds is back on telly because he asked it of the cosmos, and the cosmos did give him a game show to present. Which just goes to show it's the cosmos at fault here. Or endemol, it's one of the two.
Bob Holness should be back on telly, this much is true. Sadly he won't, as he has found greater fame playing as the pitcher for the American Baseball team the Boston Red Sox.
I hope that clears things up.

IMDb states Nelson played Bond as per Mrs L's post here
www.imdb.com/title/tt0310853/
Followed by what most people percieve to be the first Bond Peter Sellers/David Niven here
www.imdb.com/name/nm0625167/
IMDb has wasted many of my afternoons :)

true, but Bond is more than just the character; it's the stories, the gadgets, the villains, the theme tunes and the girls. Q came into his own under Roger Moore's patronage giving us the underwater Lotus for example. Look at Sorin played by Christopher Walken. Great villain. Solitaire played by Jane Seymour - apart from the Contessa in 'Majesty's', my favourite ever Bond girl. Beatles 'Live And Let Die'... etc
Oh, and I love George Lazenby. In 'Majesty's', Bond is at his most human. He falls deeply in love, gets married and loses the great love of his life. This explains why he uses and discards all the others. It's really quite tragic :)
