Mr Maladicta lives on tinned spaghetti and the cheesy ones (and orange juice to keep the scurvy at bay).
For me, I think it would have to be Micro Chips, Super Noodles and packet soup.

I used to have a fabulous metabolism where I could sit round all day, eat crap and not put on weight - in fact I did when I was a film student.
Now I walk about five miles a day as I don't have a chance to sit down, have a stupidly healthy lunch and feel I've therefore earned the right to eat crap in the evening :)
I could never do a desk job again as I fidget too much
Edit: Kaol, your blood story made me feel hungry again. I'm a sick sick puppy I know *feels ashamed*

I'm off to bed to finish my book.
I have a busy today tomorrow waiting for the new qotw to start while chatting with various strangers and looking at pictures of kittens on the interweb.
Then it's the gym : (

The Yorkshires don't work
as it's got marg in it.
The egg stuff looks interesting though. I think the one A posted is one I'll get my sister in law to try first for me, but the other one looks more like a thickener for stuff or paste than something I could use to make omelette.
Will do more searching in a bit

I find that the key to a good Yorkshire pudding is to have the fat (as a veggi I use sunflower oil) as hot as you can and the batter as cold as you can. Once the yorkshires are in the oven DO NOT open the door for 20 minutes.

just seems like too much of a hassle. Sure it's your own place and all, but you're the one stuck with stuff when it goes wrong. I've been lucky with landlords though and never had one that's had a problem with me decorating however I like and fixing things when they break. Not allowing me pets at my current on is a bit of a fucker though.

We should all live in tents and migrate with the seasons. The Alps in winter and the Med in summer would do nicely.
On the flip side though, I made the decision a few years back to destroy my mortgage as quickly as possible, and with various saving, overpaying and get-rich-quick schemes, I should be mortgage free by March next year at the latest. Sooner if possible. Screw you Nationwide.

This was the one thing that got me about Firefly. I love the series to bits, but in (I think) the first episode, the crew end up meeting a contact in this place which is built up from shipping containers.
I just kind of thought that by the time we've colonised other planets, we might have abandoned the standard ISO container format....

I dunno
I used to be really really materialistic and have tons of stuff, but in the last few years I've downsized my life and am happier for it. I always wanted to be minimalist as clutter and crap drives me mad. Don't get me wrong, I still have plenty of clutter, but it's organised better now.
Night Mrs L
I'm off to bed as well. Late start tomorrow, but still recovering from yesterday. Edit: Forgot to say, some of the pressure is off now as we have a locum starting next week, but she doesn't start until the day after the other nurse leaves, so no crossover to tell important stuff. Still, better than nothing :)

Really, it's part of my...
..."don't worry so much" plan for life. I'm in the happy position to get this done just now, but I'm acutely aware that this might not be the case in the future. So I'll take the sort term pain now, deny myself other stuff that I might well do/get/experience otherwise, and generally [iss myself off so I don't have to worry about it in the future.
I've always been the sensible one, so I'd love to get in the position where - well, I don't feel like I hae to worry so much.
