I takes me about half an hour to drink my large scalding hot black coffee
So I would say 45-1hr was acceptable before buying another drink. That said I have never taken a laptop to a coffee shop. The Barista in my local costa (yes Cornwall has Costa swipe you sarcastic, fucking ginger, fat, psycho, cunt!) fancies me so I can do what I like and always get a smile.
