I love going to the theatre, but I suspect that swipe means some musical bollocks

All those other people?
Or the fact that they were all built back when 5'8 was considered really tall?

Old Wembley was like that
I went to the Sunderland play off final and literally couldn't sit down

It's dark and the convention is to not talk, so the other people don't bother me unless I'm tryin gto get to the bar at interval.
It's the latter thing.

Plus the mrs has it worse than me, so she's always
clattering her fucking knee into mine as she tries to get comfortable.

Last thing we saw was Les Mis. I was trapped in there for HOURS.

I got free tickets with Mrs Cow to see a play called "Stones in their Pockets"
Fuck me, that was dull

Worst thing I saw was in Edinburgh February before last.
It was so stupid and boring I drifted off, lost the thread of the story, spent the last hour in bored confusion and subsequently managed to forget what it was even called.

I have never been, it has never interested me, and the 'show' is definitely not something I would choose.

(, Mon 24 Feb 2014, 15:28, Reply)
i fucking love the theatre
going to see "ghost stories" at the arts theatre on Friday, SO excited. the reviews and people I know who've been say that you sleep with the lights on for a week afterwards, it's so frightening.

Bit put off by the shit trailer of audience reactions

(, Mon 24 Feb 2014, 15:35, Reply)
ha, i ignore that
I go on a couple of things, like: do I know the author/anyone in it? do I hate them? also different theatres have different things, eg if it's at the national or Trafalgar studios, it will be less tourist bollocks, and usually v good.
