Hi, its me, PJ, one time saviour of OT, but no longer.
How are you all today? I was going to watch Interstellar this weekend? Have you seen it? If so it is any good? What should I watch instead?
Alt. Best gig you've ever been to and what made it the best.

I might watch Interstellar this weekend too
So watch it, but if you've time for anything else I recommend Whiplash or Inherent Vice. Oh, or Boxtrolls, of course.

Or the first time I saw That Fucking Tank

Vespertine is one of the greatest albums ever, I reckon
And this new one is up there.
There's some excellent dance remix stuff on the singles too

Or Rammstein in Nottingham, Pet Shop Boys in '91 or any from a few at Sonisphere last year (Babymetal, Alestorm and Airbourne were the standouts)

Alt: tough question, Show I most enjoyed was probably seeing Clutch at the old Zodiac in Oxford. But special mention for Skunk Anansie, Skin put on a hell of a show when they played download. Also, recent Faith No More in Hyde Park blew my little Rock socks off

probably live earth
as we got to see so many different people in one day - foo fighters, snow patrol, razorlight, madonna, black eyed peas, duran duran, bloc party, spinal tap, beastie boys and lots of tits make tits of themselves like ricky gervais, james blunt, geri halliwell etc. the champagne may have helped.
worst was easily rihanna (not at live earth). terrible.

Not bad thanks, although my teeth are a bit sore after a hygienist visit earlier.
Teeth look better though, so was worth it. Not seen Interstellar yet, but it's meant to be excellent.
Alt: Slipknot at Sonisphere - the atmosphere was intense, the set was excellent, and the pouring rain just made it feel that bit more mental.
Metallica at Download, where they performed Master of Puppets in it's entirety. Seeing that with my best friend and a skinful of beer was an absolute treat.
30STM in Nottingham - I was only really there for the support, but 30STM were brilliant. The stage show was fucking impressive, as was the performance. Shame the crowd were shite.
Napalm Death in Leeds was just absolutely insane.

I kind of like the play the whole album thing.
Saw Brian Wilson doing Pet Sounds, which totally changed my previous stance of it not being worth seeing those somewhat past their prime.

Rammstein at download 2013
pendulum at download (2011 I think)
the streets at wireless
chemical brothers at wireless
Soundgarden at hard rock
lots more but I'll become tedious if I list them.
I really wish I could remember all the stand out acts, but the shit tends to linger longer.
