I can only really speak for girls I guess.

I think that the chances of finding someone to love who loves you are so slim it is rather prudish to cut off 50% of the population.
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:17, Reply)
a valid point Mrs L
but you need to take into account that men are ugly, smelly and hairy and women are (mostly) pretty, fragrant and smooth
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:20, Reply)
Mrs Bin
That's a good point, but I have so far never found myself attracted to a guy. Women, on the other hand, are so much more beautiful creatures!

*ponders about having a woman on his other hand*
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:20, Reply)
I understand that LB
But who knows. You might meet a man who would change your mind.

That said it is true that it is easier to fancy women as they are pretty, smooth and spell nice. Men are all together more spiky and smelly.
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:24, Reply)
Well
I have to admit, my profile pic shows I'm kinda spiky, but I smell nice!
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:27, Reply)
It's too hot
and my aircon is on the blink.
But my kittens are frolicking in the sun on the patio, so they're happy.
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:28, Reply)
I've gone for the more hair option
so I tend not to be spiky either, more soft and fluffy

I also smell quite nice

however, what with all the hair and general largeness I can't imagine another man wanting to get it on with me. For which I am glad.

edit: workboresme, I read that as "my kittens are on the blink" made me laugh quite a bit!
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:28, Reply)
People are into all sorts of things!
I'm sure they'd be guys out there who'd find you attractive, Vipros!

workboresme, I am supremely jealous of your hot weather, this summer has been completely shit, and a nice sunny day is just what's needed!
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 21:32, Reply)
I suppose you are right
unfortunately for them I'm off the market ;-)

It was a very tongue in cheek letter, not a complaint, just asking if they had stopped making it completely and if I could get it in bottles. Also stroked their ego a little bit...

And guess what? They are sending me FREE BEER! FOR NOTHING!

I am pleased! :)

Well
@ Mrs L, mostly it was ok, sometimes it was tricky. My 'rents always told me I could make my own decision and that if I wanted to eat stuff when I was at other kids houses I could, but I never did. Dinner ladies were the worst for lack of understanding, and some of my teachers actively took the piss. The other kids themselves were fine, just curious, as kids are, but didn't judge. I was the only vegi kid in school apart from one other, who happened to be my closest friend, so that helped. These days there's a lot more awareness, and I know lots of people with vegi kids who don't seem to have much difficulty. You and your lucky kiddies will be fine!

@ ancrenne, I love honey, it's the best medicine :) Specially with other things that taste good and herbally.

When I worked at the supermarket I sometimes bought dairy stuff that was reduced to clear, on the principal that me eating it is better than it getting wasted. Still a bit conflicted about that though... and dairy has pus and dead viruses and stuff which ought to be enough to put me off anyway... but I still get cravings for cheese, and Sheese and Cheezly just don't satisfy the longing :(

Nice to hear Warmfuzzy
In schools today there are so many children who don't eat meat for religious reasons that they are catered for. All the dinner ladies know who is vegi.
In fact we sent a letter home this week because some children who were vegi were asking for meat and the dinner ladies have to turn them down.

I gotta say
I don't agree with forcing kids to be vegitarian just because the parents are. My uncles a vegitarian, but he wants the kids to make their own decisions about it.

Since I grew up (which in itself is a debatable point) my mum told me she has wondered if she did the right thing in bringing me up veggie from the start, and I have replied emphatically yes. I have two brothers too, and they're still veggie and happy. I am thankful that she made that decision. Maybe not everyone would be, but I am.

@ ancrenne, yes I agree with you, and it's impossible sometimes and definitely better to be compromised than ill. I sometimes feel like a fraud for calling myself vegan, but as I check for hidden ingredients as much as possible and only eat specific things when I make a conscious decision to do so, although I still get conflicted, I feel vegan in my head, if you know what I mean.

I find
music hard to categorise generally.

My all time favourite band are Air, when I describe them as electronica people zone out, but they are so much much more than that.

My bro's band Private Peccadilloes are usually described as jazz/funk/rock, which makes it hard for me to persuade people to come and see them with me. But they are simply a great live band. (Have a clicky on Mr Clean, my bro unleashes the spirit of Jimi in his solo).

So yeah, it was prolly a stupid question really :)
