Wednesday night sounds good. I'll use that as a tentative date. If you want to change (or indeed, cancel) let me know.
Also, don't forget what chocolate you want for me to bring.
"The Cheesecake Factory" is brilliant! I could spend a whole day in there! But I'd walk out 3 stone heavier!
I also like IHOP, too.

Did you know.....
....that the UK is actually on the Euro? The reason for this is that the UK has 2 armed forces bases in Cyprus and since Cyprus is on the euro, the UK agreed to make the euro legal tender on these bases. Now since the bases are UK soil (under the Geneva convention) this means, that the UK has 2 official forms of currency, the UK pound sterling and the Euro.
What make all this extra inane, is the fact that I recited all of this from my own memory (no websites were used). This includes the "Geneva convention" part.....
Why am I still single......?

..... Mount Everest (Actually, pronounced "EVE-EREST") ISN'T the "tallest" mountain in the world. It's actually "Mauna Kea" in Hawaii. Officially, mountains have to measure from undersea base to peak. If we use that metric, then Mauna Kea is the "tallest" mountain in the world. Mount Everest is actually the "highest" mountain.....above sealevel.

Oriental people can't hold their drink.
Apparently, genetically, they lack an enzyme which helps break down alcohol, which means, they can get drunk on a smaller amount and the effects last longer.
I really need to do something meaningful with my life....

Why is Oriental bad? It was clear and concise. If I describe someone as Asian here it means an Oriental, but over there it means an Indian. Why is Oriental considered bad?

I don't why that would be offensive. The word "oriental" is means "Eastern". So, the term "oriental people" literally means "eastern people".
Likewise, "Austral" means "southern". Hence, "Australians".

Sorry, that was an Anchorman reference.
My old housemate had a Nigerian girlfriend for a while. He said they smell and taste different too.
Apparently we smell of curdled milk to many oriental folk as they have virtually a dairy-free diet

Ah, that explains it.
As I can't stand Will Ferrel, I've never seen Anchorman.
It's true, the different diets of people make them smell emphatically different. I really don't know what I smell like, of course, but I've known women who smelled faintly of garlic most of the time, and others who apparently ate a lot of eggs as they smelled vaguely of sulphur. But they were the rare few- most don't smell unusual to me.

Sadly, I couldn't make it.... I was somewhat of an idiot and booked tickets to Sweden for that weekend. I realised about three seconds after buying, but EasyJet wouldn't let me change them for a week later, the bastards. I do hope everyone who came had a good time though!

It's because you're not doing much during the day that you're getting knackered.
I always feel more awake at the end of the day if I've been really busy, but lethargic if I've had a slow day.

We have never met. I'm just a random lurker who decided to de lurk a bit, and make afool out of myself. The alcohol is assisting with this.
I also saw a menton of stabbing, and I couldn't resist the opening.

Stabbings do create some good openings
And when I say good, I don't mean good for your health. I should stop talking.
Anyone care to fill me in on what's been going on this evening so I don't have to read everything?
And hi Mrs Bin.

Which are often rapidly filled with metal.
I believe the London bash this weekend is the current topic of conversation. Whisky was as sideline some time ago.

I didn't even know what cutlery to use to eat it.

I've got an awesome Friday night planned
For once I'm not gonna be sitting here, on b3ta.
I'm gonna be eating pickled stuff and drinking vodka on a boat in London :D
EDIT: The juxtaposition of this TGB's post makes me look like a bastard. Sorry :(
*hugs*

Evenin Mrs L.
Still haven't read most of this thread myself and it seems to be about the weekend's bash.
@TGB: No worries. Now I've got a job am and back in the UK, I might just go to a bash in the town of Lemmings.

I was right about holding the bash on Saturday instead of Friday. Friday is my first office pub-night.

Well, Kaol
I was learning about just how little time I really have to complete all the things I need to do for my project, as I had to make up a time plan of when they're all going to get done. Gantt charts FTW!!!

With a syringe not actually sucking that would be weird.

If you're shrunk to the size of a drunken shrunken skunk
you too can play with the little people who inhabit your underpants.

What happens if they start weaving yr downstairs hair into baskets?

You mean I'm the only one who houses a tribe of mini-people in my underwear? No wonder my trade in mini-baskets was doing so well.

Butterflies
are cool.
You'd need more a pubic fishing net system than a pubic basket system to painful catch an erection.
Then you harpoon it.

talking in the theoretical field.
Never tried it myself, but I'm pretty sure that if I look for it on the net something will come up. Something disturbing.

Buggeration
I have a prior engagement on saturday night... have to sort some stuff out with a young lady, which may or may not result in us talking again...
Dammit. I'm going to need to get drunk after that.
Sigh.
Anyway, time for bed I think. Night.

Haha!
As a sober person this conversation was tres funny to read.
And I am left with the lingering image of Pants People - like Pans People, but running towards the camera waving pants all over the place.
