Evening Batman.
I'd temporarily got lost among the dirty plates in my kitchen. I've banished them to the dishwasher now though, so all is well.
I think it's going to be a quiet evening. Certainly hoping there's no grandparents asking me to help them remove porn from their VCRs tonight :)

You'll need to have a theme tune. And what kind of car are you going to use?!
I have 10 days off at the start of November so was thinking of coming down your way if you're about for a beer?

Do it. Us Warwickshire lot are a friendly bunch. We don't get utterly mashed on White Russians - honestly! may be a lie
The b3tawagon will most likely be a 7-seater Land Rover Discovery - it depends what's lying around at work when the time comes, but I'll have to work on a theme tune :)

Is it me or is this QOTW bringing out the /talk trolls more than usual? My ignore list is going to be longer than my friends list at this rate. Esme and Dave Trouser - they're a couple of witty and insightful cards aren't they? Dave managed to string a few words together and call me a 'gaylord wanker' on an earlier thread. My sides are splitting, especially coming from a 'man' with a silly hat.
This QOTW is getting getting really dull. I didn't hold out much hope for it on Thursday, and it seems to have degenerated, with a few exceptions, into a vitriolic free for all.
Anyway, we're in London at the weekend, but for family stuff :-( Never mind, there's always next time.

When we moved into our house I designated our conservatory as my own private smoking fiefdom - I've done the whole huddling under an umbrella thing and it's no fun.
A few years ago I decided to take up smoking a pipe and was doing such one Sunday morning. The JW who knocked on my door was startled to be confronted by a 6'2 skinhead in a dressing
gown and sporting a fat pipe.
Edit: HCFB - Knock yourself out my friend. The baccy's there, git rollin'

After managing to bodge the shower slightly so it's marginally less rubbish.
MM!!!!!! Good evenings. How are you?
*goes to catch up*

Woohooooo!
Swan, a pipe? Nice. I always wanted but couldn't handled it. I do have one which blows bubbles though but it doesn't quite have the same effect I'm told.
( , Mon 20 Oct 2008, 21:42, Reply)

that he merely looked a touch startled especially as I opened the door with a Lord Hogmany Melchett esque "Morning!".
He lamely offered a copy of God literature and scuttled through the gate ..... I happily puffed away before binning his quaint pamphlet.

Glad you're enjoying student life MM.
Got to love a good dressing gown swan. Got to love it.
And evening al.

I am deciding what music I should listen to, A Perfect Circle is on now but I fancy something a bit more upbeat *ponders*
( , Mon 20 Oct 2008, 21:52, Reply)

Quite aside from the immense pleasure I get on summer evenings sat in garden watching smoky clouds billowing gracefully into the sky, I get to be the kind of twat who draws upon his pipe while considering another's point. Clasps the bowl of it towards me and the punctuates my rebuttal with short stabbing motions of said pipe.
Plus it irritates the piss out of my Mum.
Cannibal corpse are good but surely at this time of night a little calmer music would be more apposite?

I was listening to Take That. I love them. Their new stuff anyway.
I have terrible taste in music apparently.
I quite like it though.
The Boss is on now.

Marry me.
The Boss = The Sex.
That is if you mean Bruce Springsteen...
Al, that is a beautiful song and you singing it has made me go all quivery

And a load of stuff I've just added to my myspack playlist mainly to make a point to my ex.
*is scorned and immature about it*
EDIT: I was agreeing that praps you should have left that unsaid Batman.

Love it to Death at the moment, which seems to be on one file so I have a 45min track.
( , Mon 20 Oct 2008, 22:03, Reply)

Is that all it takes? Blimey.
One of the first ever conversations I had with Mr VP was about The Boss.
You two would get on like a house on fire.

EDIT Lucy, fraid so. The only other woman I know who likes him as much as I do is my mum...
I went and saw him a few months ago in London, it was the best night of my life. Seriously.

I am really freaked out. My pooter is playing music and I don't know where it's coming from. I have stopped all the players. And there is still music.
*freaks*

TGB smilie face?
And maybe your computer is possessed! wooooOOoooooOOooooo
( , Mon 20 Oct 2008, 22:20, Reply)

Halfway through a song. It was a song that is on one of my playlists (Left Bank by Air in case anyone's interested, you never know, paranormal investigators may consider it relevent), but the players (which I made sure were paused) were on different songs, not that one, when I paused them.
How peculiar.
Anyway. Carry on as you were.

Fuzzy the other day my computer tries to play two songs simultaneous and totally spazzed out in the end :(

Too far?
TGB I couldn't make you a smiley face...because...uuuummmm...potato based snacks don't do justice to your beauty.

My mate loves Tom Cruise and Top Gun so he went out dressed as Maverick a few Halloweens. I went with him but couldn't be arsed making a costume so just put a white sheet over me, cut some eye holes, put a pair of aviator sun glasses on my head and stuck a blonde moustache where my face would be. I was Goose. Nobody got it.
EDIT fuzzy yeah I am a creep aren't I

I had an awesome-tastic band practice, but I think I'm still ill from Saturday night.
I kept having to stop between songs to go be sick :(
On the plus side I had Lemon Chicken!
On the downside, I don't think I have any of it left in me.
