I'd temporarily got lost among the dirty plates in my kitchen. I've banished them to the dishwasher now though, so all is well.

ancrenne, I used to work with a guy who was a vegetarian, which I appreciate isn't the same obviously, and he used to bring me in lots of tasty non-meat things so I don't think the food is horrible at all!

Is it me or is this QOTW bringing out the /talk trolls more than usual? My ignore list is going to be longer than my friends list at this rate. Esme and Dave Trouser - they're a couple of witty and insightful cards aren't they? Dave managed to string a few words together and call me a 'gaylord wanker' on an earlier thread. My sides are splitting, especially coming from a 'man' with a silly hat.

This QOTW is getting getting really dull. I didn't hold out much hope for it on Thursday, and it seems to have degenerated, with a few exceptions, into a vitriolic free for all.

Anyway, we're in London at the weekend, but for family stuff :-( Never mind, there's always next time.

My mate loves Tom Cruise and Top Gun so he went out dressed as Maverick a few Halloweens. I went with him but couldn't be arsed making a costume so just put a white sheet over me, cut some eye holes, put a pair of aviator sun glasses on my head and stuck a blonde moustache where my face would be. I was Goose. Nobody got it.
