Evening all. To answer the WeeWitch, no, I haven't been in the toy aisle at Asda.
Mainly because the toy aisle in our branch is spectacularly unimpressive.
( , Tue 25 Nov 2008, 18:46, Reply)

no good toys at Asda? Ours is pretty impressive at this time of year .... but then I've never actually looked for Daleks.

The toy aisle consists of a couple of shelves with a few item of cheap tat on them, cos it's a small branch. But we're getting a *big one* soon.
*Excites*

Yes BK, I'm still on about the dodgems, I enjoyed them that much.

A good friend of mine got pulled for that and spent a night in jail this past weekend. Startling as she's a 60 year old widow and is not in the habit of doing such things...
EDIT: And WTF is up with "Chrimbo"? Do you lot have some sort of inborn difficulty with using the standard words like "Christmas"? It's the same number of syllables, people!

I mentioned last night that I was watching This is England on channel 4 and Mr Bin excitedly pointed out two Marinas.
Did they belong to anyone you know?
( , Tue 25 Nov 2008, 20:39, Reply)

Woooo!
I thought the new bond was ace. As you say, it wasn't quite as good as Casino Royale, but I still really enjoyed it. Much better than I had been led to believe by some reviews.
( , Tue 25 Nov 2008, 20:39, Reply)

I dunno Mrs L I didn't see it! I will ask around! I'm sure someone knows someone who knows them.
Al - Yeah some of the reviews slated it a fair bit. It gets 8/10 Badgers.

it would be the talk of the Marina Owners newsletter!
I can see the headlines: MARINAS TO BE FEATURED IN FILM ABOUT RACISTS. (owning a Marina does not make you racist).

( , Tue 25 Nov 2008, 20:52, Reply)

Hey guys.
I've just got back from the place I'm going to for CBT for a bit of a chat to let them know a bit about my situation and discuss other possible therapies and support groups etc. Once the risk assessment from the mental health team at the hospital comes through I'll be able to start CBT and might also have some one to one counseling too.

@captain - what is CBT? I'm thinking Compulsary Basic Training, but I get the impression that is wrong.
( , Tue 25 Nov 2008, 20:59, Reply)

I have a job now. It's not starting until January so I'm still doing supply at the moment.
However I have been getting stacks of supply work, so much so that when a school phoned this morning, I turned it down so I could stay in bed.
It was the morning so I guess I must have truned down £80!
