I'm drunk. I want a smoke.
I fucking hate you all by the way. You bunch of jizz sucking, acid cunt wankers.
GIVE ME A FUCKING FAG YOU BASTARDS.
Oh yeah, you might as well have a fucking evening thread while I'm here.
I hope you all get HIV.

This makes me want to go outside to smoke.
Nicotine lozenges FTW....the only free advice I will ever give.

You're keeping well I trust? Have you been paid yet?
Oh, gaz incoming *hurls and takes cover*
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 17:53, Reply)

I didn't think giving up would be this hard.
I'm sure the 4 pints of cider and 3 shots haven't helped.
I actaully had a cry on the tube home I wanted a fag so bad.
*is pathetic*
I think if I give in now though I'll regret it.
This is shit.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 17:54, Reply)

I can't do vitriol either.
@ancrenne - how is the pants business going?
@Lusty - going through the D/Ts huh? My sympathies, I've been there before. Worth it though, that'll be £6 a throw less that doesn't go to the Gubmint.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 17:56, Reply)

I know it'll be worth it, but honestly all I want to do is smoke all the cigarettes in the world right now :(
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:04, Reply)

I'm in for a fun night of work tonight. Woot!
Ancrenne m'dear, it's been a while. Are you well?
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:13, Reply)

Is there anything that distracts you, or that you would appreciate more for not smoking?
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:22, Reply)

I've got the opposite of this.
Smoking, but haven't had a drop of alcohol since the 30th of December.
I'm getting to the point that I might well kill someone soon.
But good work on the not smoking, I'm impressed :)
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:24, Reply)

Long time no speak, are you keeping well?
No booze in a fortnight? Impressive - what is it with clean living b3tans?
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:29, Reply)

Work is boring as ever, but I'm stuck here for the foreseeable future.
Other than that... Not really up to much, just band-stuff.
How about you? Get the car-issue sorted? Was it the battery?
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:30, Reply)

Smoking beats drinking hands down.
I think knowing I can't have a spliff is getting to me more than anything. This is the longest I've gone without a cigarette in 6 years and the longest I've gone without a spliff in about 2 months.
Someone come hug me :(
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:32, Reply)

You were looking to head into the city for a while weren't you?
Ah the car... That was a saga best left to chickenlady to explain. Basically her battery terminal was loose but the garage cocked up a repair to her brake switch under the dashboard - we discovered this thanks to smoke and the smell of burning Peugeot pouring out of the air vents.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:33, Reply)

How's band stuff going these days Mr Kaol? My lot just keep getting booked to play at stuff, which would be great apart from all the uni work I have to fit in somewhere.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:34, Reply)

Well... It does sound like you're doing well, however rubbish it is.
Oh, and the claw-hand-man, was there a back-story, or was he just on the tube?
EDIT: Yeah, I still want to move to London, but things aren't looking like they'll let me do that any time soon.
And band-stuff, Mr. PoD, is going slowly, as we've only had one practice since last year!
But we've got an awesome new guitarist, which is cool!
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:34, Reply)

No spliffs either? Could you not resort to a pipe? *coughs* not that I have knowledge of such things...
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:35, Reply)

Sounds typical!
I really wish I had a friend who was a mechanic, garages can be shite.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:39, Reply)

I feel practices are overrated. Very much so.
edits - Just learn to do it yourself, Kaol. I'm off to play plumber tomorrow at a friends house to save them phoning and paying a proper one.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:39, Reply)

Claw hand man wasn't even on the tube. He was just walking down the road, clapping his claw.
I've never seen anyone with a hook before. He was very well-to-do as well. It was amazing.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:39, Reply)

Get your hands on an old banger (fnar!) and learn the basics. Hark at me, I know feck all about fixing cars although I've worked on VW busses in the past and done the odd bit of work on my VWs and Alfas.
TGB is the expert. I think she learned as she fixed.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:43, Reply)

If I had a claw, I'd get a fancy hat, and maybe some cowboy boots.
PoD, I'll send you something, hang on!
EDIT: PJM, I used to have a Series 2a Land Rover, I can fix lots of stuff, but in new cars it's stupid things like the computer and that can go wrong!
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:44, Reply)

Did you not think I'd last?
Thanks for the vote of confidence!
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 18:45, Reply)

As in "The Hooded Claw"?
Or the beardy bloke from Muswell Hill?
*edits* shit. That was a hook wasn't it.
*goes to check difference between "hook" and "claw" *

You're right. Nowadays you have to buy a whole new glimbart if a nanotek goes for a shit.
Glimbarts are expensive and fragile, especially the Italian ones.

The DTs last a while, but you get through. Congrats on giving it a go.

That's why i'm constantly referring to all you lot as such a bunch of total cunts.

Have fun everybody, don't forget you're all cunts.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 19:28, Reply)

I suspect I may have passed my 3 month appraisal at work coz nobody went up to me to tell me to fuck off out the company. Either that or or it's tomorrow. In the meantime, my boss was completing his handover of tasks to me. I'll soon be all alone in my department.
( , Tue 13 Jan 2009, 19:35, Reply)

Congratulations!
Here's a bit of advice. If you feel overcome by temptation, just find a nearby hill, climb to the top, and using your lungs at full capacity, scream out "I'M FUCKING MENTAL!!!", or better yet, just good old fashioned "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!" with all it's primeval rage. Repeat (the screaming) until you're exhausted.
Also, if you're tempted to do a "Oh go on, just one", you may all of a sudden remember just what you were missing, so no "One offs" or "This doesn't count". This also includes b3ta bashes.
And yes, the York Bash will be all of teh awesome.

b) Watch Scarface and post on b3ta
c) Watch season two of Supernatural ('til my head hits the keyboard some time around 4am)

@HDL: Am still overwhelmed. Not yet sure how being the only one in my department at work is going to work out. See a few comments above about my 3 month appraisal.
Also, I'm arranging a real-life meetup with some Internet people from another forum, and ploughing through my endless piles of unanswered emails and gazzes. I keep meaning to test out my new monitor by watching a DVD but just can't seem to fit the time in.
@DG: If you can, could you gaz me the link as well?

I mean, for fuck's sakes, I'm getting suicidal thoughts- and that is not me at all. Fucking stupid! Would be nice if I could find a way of snapping out of it.

Also B3ta isn't blocked but I have a really visible screen and I don't want to be seen pissing about online just yet :p

And the next gig is a private "do" on Saturday. We're waiting for a call back in Feb but the set's definitely getting longer and better!
BTW anyone got a MIDI file of "Happy hour" by the Housemartins?
