Argh
I've just sat in unexpected roadworks for 20 minutes on my way into work.

How has your day started?

Badly
I'm at work!
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:02, Reply)
with a hangover
and a hot naked man. That's win-win, apart from the hangover.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:05, Reply)
*jealous*
Why doesn't this happen to me more often?
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:08, Reply)
it's not without its complications
but hey, we all need a little drama
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:12, Reply)
Fucking win
I just got 2 Muse NIA tickets.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:07, Reply)
I failed
at least, to get one set of tickets. My friend is POSSIBLY buying some, so I might be going.

I'm trying not to be too upset. No. I've seen then 3 times. That's enough.

WHYYYYYYY?!?!

Also, I have an exam this afternoon that I know nothing for.

Not great so far
Woke up and had five minutes to get washed, dressed and out of the house. The run made me very much awake though.

No boss here today however, so it's going to be nice and easy, although slow.

Got a stiniking cold that has wiped me out all week

was planning on dealing with morning meeting and sneaking home at lunchtime...I now have a meeting at 5.

Wonderful start!
I woke at around 7.30, the mrs was downstairs doing mrs stuff. I rolled over and there was my little boy smiling at me. He put his little tubby arms around my neck and gave me a big snuggle.

Fuckin ace way to start the day!
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:19, Reply)
Aww!

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:24, Reply)
Excellent start
Nothing like a hug from a child to get the day going. I fear I may explode with fluffy at the thought of this.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:32, Reply)
He's nearly 2
and is all kinds of wonderful, aceness and toddler chubbyness.

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:49, Reply)
Awwww
He's a little cherub :o)

Toast
Tea
F1 practice on Red Button
Charity web site work
Taken and passed thirty jobs

A pretty normal morning for me.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:22, Reply)
Pouring gone off milk into my tea was a bad start.
I still drank it though.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:28, Reply)
BLEUGHHHHH
Milk in tea is evil. Rancid milk in tea is evil squared.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:29, Reply)
Nothing should be permitted to contaminate tea
Except a small amount of sugar. And not always then.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:32, Reply)
JUST PUT THE TEA BAG IN THE WATER (preferably via a teapot)
and no one gets hurt.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:34, Reply)
Teabag? TEABAG?
Tea *leaves*, and nothing else. It has taken me a long time to train the people at work how to make it properly.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:39, Reply)
Teabag. Punjana.
Punjana is proper Norn Iron tea. It's the best. Punjana tea leaves would be welcome but you can't get them here - it's hard enough tracking down the bags.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:47, Reply)
Punjana
Aye, that's a good Ulster name, eh?

:)
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:50, Reply)
Aye.
Punjana McTaig.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:57, Reply)
My boss drinks that in the office
I could ask him where he got it. I'm a green tea man myself so no milk for me either.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 10:28, Reply)
I feel your pain
I get it when I see people drinking Magners on ice.
ICE IN CIDER?

ffs!

Each to their own

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:39, Reply)
what?
you're still ALIVE?
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:47, Reply)
I've imbibed worse things than milky tea.
It's gonna take something special to wipe me out.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 10:28, Reply)
sod all really
got up, had cereal and deleted my Facebook account. I suddenly realised how much I detest it. It's the equivalent of a scabby knee that you can't stop picking.

I then intend to have a good clear out and bin a load of clutter.

Note to self: Be ruthless when tidying up
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:34, Reply)
Excellently.
Once again, I have the house to myself from 8 onwards, so did my usual routine of highly enjoyable long, hot shower, followed by wandering round the house naked for a bit before getting dressed and turning on the computer to begin the day's procrastination.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:36, Reply)
The waking up part of my day went well
But things seem to have gone quickly downhill, as someone outside appears to be using a circular saw to cut lots of stuff. It's far to loud for this time of the morning.
