Never did I think I would be so pleased to see a reletive stranger! So very friendly and helpful to a lost soul in the middle of heartless London (yes, I was pissed by the point they turned up).

As far as I can tell its paintballing with bb guns
Some realistic, some less so (apparently at the place we're going tomorrow someone occasionally turns up with a "flamethrower" which consists of a modified Henry hoover).
If I enjoy it I'm definitely going to try and do some more, a bit of a trek to get there, but gives me an excuse to go stay at my mate's in Bournemouth.

Most of the time I either spend hiding behind obstacles or getting my visor misted up. Went for the second time a few weeks ago at my mate's stag-do where he was dressed up as a baby.

I think it works out somewhat easier than paintballing
since the shots are affected less by the wind (faster speed, lower surface area), at least that's how it seemed when I had a go with my friend's gun. Not sure how it will be when under fire though.
Likely to come back purple anyway seeing as the side effect of one of my medications is that I bruise more easily.

Depends what shot you're using
If it's the lightweight balls, they won't drop much but will be affected by the wind more. If you're using heavyweight balls, you won't get the range as they'll drop sooner, but you'll get better accuracy over the shorter distance as they won't be affected by wind as much.

out of practice thinking about physics, just spent the last couple minutes working out if all was right with that or not.
[pedantry](it almost is, the heavier balls take the same time to drop (neglecting aerodynamic effects, since I'm only in my first year), but go less far due to moving slower in the first place)[/pedantry]
Going to an urban course anyway, so shouldn't be too much wind either way (unless I'm out in the open, in which case I'll not be alive long enough to notice due to being crap at running)

I spent GCSE hearing about my teacher's various trips abroad, his band, and anything but the subject. Then spent A level laughing at very CDC-like diagrams and playing a web game my friend made*, and somehow still learnt enough during the 5-10 minutes of actual teaching to do it as a degree. Absolutely legendary teachers.
