This morning
I made a couple of slices of toast. I only had enough jam for one, so I raided the fridge. The nearest I could find to a fruit-based foodstuff in a jar was lime pickle. So I thought "fuck it, I'll give it a go."

What food combinations have you tried that were spectacularly wrong and shouldn't be repeated?

Also, I once tried boiled egg and crisp sandwiches, which was also a distater. Your brain refuses to believe that your sandwich is not full of eggshell.

lemon pepper seasoning used on steak, then chopped up and placed over plain pasta at 3 in the morning
I'd never be able to eat it if I hadn't been drunk

Just had one for lunch
Brie, ham and lots of mustard, with tomatoes and cucumber. It was slimy and sour, just like Berts cock.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Bacon and egg sandwiches are fab - Pickled eggs are greater though - and I like lime pickle on toast! Lime pickle and cheese on toast warm. Never ever ever replace soy sauce with fish sauce, vile vile vile stuff - it should have haz chem signs.

fish sauce
is the business, not instead of soy though, that'd be stupid, but to compliment it. used some last night with chilli, garlic and wafer thin slices of beef skirt

nom nom

I bought some fish sauce
it smells like a bag-lady's clopper, but when added a Thai chicken soup recipe, it's scrum-diddly-umptious.

Skirt
or curtains?

Some things I won't be trying again are
Chocolate sauce in porridge. Bleugh!

And realising my cupboard was pretty bare I set to whipping up some risotto, I didn't have much in the way of sauces or anything so I figured I'd grab the fajita seasoning out of an el paso kit. If you're thinking of trying that let me just go ahead & save you the trouble. It mings.
