Who do you think will get promoted from the Championship this season? West Brom moved back into second place last night, there's a bunch of strong sides in the play-off places and just outside, and there's still time for Newcastle to balls it up.
I reckon West Brom, Forest and Sheffield United.

I may have a vested interest and be ignoring the fact they've slipped to 8th place...

Insert your 'Carry On' star of choice here.
Points will be deducted for Jim Dale.

The man who inspired Lou Carpenter's laugh. At least, I like to think so.

Will scrape it, Baggies are the yoyo club, too good for the championship but never quite good enough to hack it in the premiership, and maybe Forest, Davies has previous on getting up there.
Anyone but Oxford or Stevenage to go up from the conference please!

And then let's see Birmingham City get relegated and Villa move into Europe.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 10:35, Reply)
And West Ham, Fulham and Spurs get relegated. Maybe once there were more Midlands clubs than London we'd get some press attention.

collapse under the weight of their outrageous debt. With Chelsea and Man City to follow.

But the coffin dodgers who scream his name, whilst sitting in puddles of granny juice, irk me. To the extent where flat shovels are needed facewise.

that when Forest get promoted and inevitably relegated "before Christmas", Davies will be sacked again.
Newcastle and Cardiff the other 2 to go up.

They have a couple of decent players and the playoffs always throw up a surprise.

And they never make it. It's possibly one of the Signs of the Apocalypse if they actually won promotion.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:01, Reply)
surely one day? We've seen Wigan, Hull, Stoke and Burnley come from nowhere before...
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:03, Reply)
But I'd say Newcastle, West Brom and Forest at the moment. That said, Newcastle need to start pulling some decent results together. Saturday's game was one of the dullest I've ever sat through.

And Boro will win the Scottish cup.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 10:52, Reply)
Some real Celtic cast-offs Boro have ended up with there. Robson is a decent player although a bit old and injury prone now.
Everyone else couldn't get a game for us. Yes non-football fans, I just referred to the team I support, as "us".

MacDonald seems to have a decent record - 51 in 88 for Celtic.
Bring back Alves and Lee Dong Gook

McDonald was actually fantastic. He is a right poacher having little else to his game. But he can score against the best. Typically in the 18 yard box of course.
He's scored against the likes of AC Milan and Man United and has a good consistent strike-rate so all the best to him.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:04, Reply)
did we let him go?
We could have used him on Tuesday - bet he'd have scored against Kilmarnock
