I really like submarines.
Which is pretty sad and no-one else gets it but I think they're ace.

What things do you like that nobody else gives a sh1t about?

Consumer technology, dogs, food

Dogs are ace as well.
What's that film on a submarine with a Jack Russell terrier and Gene Hackman?

A dog on a submarine. Doesn't get any better than that.

Also, the yellow submarine is a made of shit.

Donno, but sounds good,
I've been on a surface-sub, which is quite cool, they had mermaid free divers.

I love scuba and snorkeling, but only if there something interesting to see

Teletext music
and regional idents from ITV in the 70s/80s.
I don't care enough to have become an expert but I wish I had.

(, Tue 13 Jul 2010, 21:37, Reply)
Oh, I dunno
It was at Birkenhead docks for the Battle of the Atlantic events in 1993 or 1994.

And it's not the raised one that's there now
It was a working U-boat

Or maybe it was that one. Fucked if I know. It had a crew and was docked.

when we was nippers
me and djtp got dragged to the national garden festival the year it was in Liverpool. We had a walk round a submarine there. I have a feeling it was something to do with Yellow Subamrine, but I could be wrong.

I like reading football tactical analysis
from guys who seem to know what they're talking about - Johnathon Wilson for example, or a few blogs online. This is probably sacrilige on b3ta.

Also I like certain business or self-help type books (currently reading How to Win Friends and Influence People) or NLP type self-help books. OK so a lot of it's baloney but there's some interesting stuff.

Probably no one is going to read this, but
I really, really like wine. Ok, lots of people like wine, but my passion is dessert wines. I love a glass of something cold and sticky, with a great balance of sweet and sharp, with a delicious dessert or pudding that it compliments perfectly. A rich chocolate pudding with a glass of Quady's Elysium, or a perfectly smooth creme brulee with a Monbazillac. Yum!

I read this
more to satisfy my own ego because I thought no-one read my entry.

Must say that the right wine is fantastic, but I'm more of a "with dinner" kind of guy. And when not with dinner, necking the cheap stuff to get pissed.
