Has anyone ever been to one?
I left school 25 odd years ago, haven't kept in touch and I disliked most of them. Might be fun turning up and telling the cunts what I thought of them. Pissed obviously.

as they make stalking and the inevitable rape after so much easier for you

I've signed up to most of the social networking sites, but very rarely use them.

Bit of a family tragedy and I didn't want to be the one sobbing in the corner... I'm still friends with all my best mates from school though, there's about 15 of us who are still good friends. Which is great except that they know way too much!

I don't see the point.
There are three girls from school on my facebook, and the rest I have rejected.

Everyone from school who I liked I am still friends with. Everyone else can get to fuck, bunch of slags, chavs and bellends.
I'm not bitter.
If I did go I would totally rent an R8 for the evening.

Why revisit the past? Most of us have moved on and have nothing to prove to a bunch of middle ageds whom we may or may not have shared double maths with.

I didn't even turn up to my graduation. The only people I was at school/college with who weren't utter cunts, I'm still in touch with anyway.

Why the fuck would I want to hang out with a bunch of thirty year olds that I didn't like fifteen years ago? Especially when they'll all be trying to out-prick each other with who's got the best job/family/life etc?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:40, Reply)
Ha! This is like a typical day at my current job (3 days remaining YUSSS)
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:43, Reply)
I won't be at my school's graduation dinner or final assembly. I'll be over with you lot.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:41, Reply)
But I didn't go to the ball or the meal or any of that.
I stuck with my family and my other half at the time.

and so I could have the dubious experience of meeting the mrs' parents, her meeting mine, and them all meeting each other, albeit briefly.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:49, Reply)
it's well annoying. My sister said it's something to do with when my dad's parents met my mum's parents, they didn't get on and so that caused problems for my parents, but I still think that's a pretty shitty excuse not to meet the parents of someone I've been with for nearly 3 years.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:30, Reply)
so I had no pressure of expectation.

1) Do you have a flamethrower?
2) Are you filled with murderous rage?
If the answer to both questions is "yes", get thee to the reunion.

"Should I go to my ex girlfriends wedding?"
"I have free tickets to a U2 concert, should I go?"
and the classic, "Should I go to the next bash?"

I see many of the tossers too often, there's no way I'd go to something where they are almost certainly going to be there.

I'm off ill still. can you recommend any films to watch? something actiony for preference. I watched Sherlock Holmes and The Hurt Locker yesterday.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:04, Reply)
From paris with love
if you've not seen District 13 or the sequel watch them.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:12, Reply)
I've seen the District 13 films, but the first one could possibly benefit from being watched again, thanks.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:13, Reply)
some people slated them but they're good for fairly light hearted action.
If you want ridiculous amounts of action, go with the literary classic Crank, followed by Crank II.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:32, Reply)
the first one seemed ridiculous enough, how on earth have they made a sequel?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:34, Reply)
I can't imagine how they've managed to make a sequel out of that since *SPOILER* that thing happened at the end of the first one.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:35, Reply)
so might get that. is it actually worth watching?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 12:37, Reply)
for mindless action entertainment. Even in that field it's not a classic. Really ridiculous premise though so worth a watch if you can stand Statham. Not seen Crank2 yet but I plan to..

thanks for the suggestions everyone

it's not bad. not as good as the first though.

All the tough kids had changed into nice blokes, and the softies had turned into wife beaters.
I didn't go to second one, it just reminded me how old I was. Almost everyone was too boring to justify further breath.

I came away knowing that there is a very good reason why I am not in touch with some of the stuck up twats but secretly pleased that I have aged better!
