Can't play a real guitar
I'm just hugely unmusical in any way. Lack of co-ordination included in the package
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:24, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
you look like you should play the flute
or the cello
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:25, Reply)
I was obligated to play the violin
and I always wanted to play the cello.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:27, Reply)
I had to learn the trombone at school I swapped it for guitar at 13 then realised I couldn't do that
so tried the drums and was at home. I really wish I could learn the violin though, I love strings.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:28, Reply)
I heard you tromboned regularly at school.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:30, Reply)
I'm not sure how to phonetically write a trombone noise in a sarcastic manner so I shall let you have this round.

Is that an Emo porn site?

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:42, Reply)
Sister site is
rimshot.com

Which also sounds horrifically pornlike.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:45, Reply)
Doesn't it just.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:46, Reply)
fab!!

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:43, Reply)
I think it's called a descending chromatic wah.
Or that might be one of the many names used by Pete Wylie's old band.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:47, Reply)
you know, I do believe you are right

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:08, Reply)
I wanted to play the cello.
But I never really got to the second instrument stage. Plus I'm not a big fan of stringed bowed instruments.

I would like to play the bassoon. Or the Eigenharp.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:29, Reply)
I have grade IV clarinet.
I hate the clarinet. It's shit.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:31, Reply)
But good for lighting oboe fires with.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:31, Reply)
I had failed to appreciate that fact.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:32, Reply)
I'm pretty pissed
that I spent £25 on my Grade VIII book and will fail to get it this exam season. Will have to spend another £25 and then however much the exam is (around £100) when I finally want to take it.

I will complete D.eme Arabesque at some point though.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:40, Reply)
I'd be a bit curious to know what grade I might be on the guitar

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:40, Reply)
I am 'weapons' grade.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:43, Reply)
you are a "weapon"
that's for sure

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:44, Reply)
I don't know how much faith I have in grades
I may be 7/8 but I'm not performance standard, and I cannot play much. I also cannot sightread to save my life (though I passed grade 7 sightreading. Having failed all but 1 before...)
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:44, Reply)
I can't read proper music any more
but I can sightread tab like a motherfucker.

have got a good ear these days too, so much so that it surprises me sometimes
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:05, Reply)
Pissed OFF, you mean.
or have you been at the cooking sherry again?
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:47, Reply)
Your Grade 13 book?
Have they magically introduced five extra grades since I took my grade 8 then?
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:47, Reply)
Fuck, the classicist just failed.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:48, Reply)
What do you play?

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:49, Reply)
Piano
Like every other middle class privately-educated girl.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:52, Reply)
I gave that up after Grade 4 and learnt to play the saxophone instead.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:54, Reply)
My sister was hardcore and played both
she was excellent at the saxophone.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:55, Reply)
Tell me about it *winks*

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:03, Reply)
At the same time?
That's fucking awesome!

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:36, Reply)
Whereas
YOU look like you should play the 'pink oboe'.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:31, Reply)
no
look at this: www.b3ta.com/questions/massivedrugs/post869597
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:34, Reply)
OK then
YOU look like you regularly play a bebop solo on the spunk trumpet.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:36, Reply)
that has earned you a grudging nod of admiration

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:36, Reply)
What a fucking helmet.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:37, Reply)
that was my thought
and a fucking lightweight to boot.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:39, Reply)
I have called him a gaylord.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:39, Reply)

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:40, Reply)

what a tit
I have some good stories about drugs but I don't want to post them as I will feel like a saddo.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:50, Reply)
While most of my stories are from when I was stoned
and I've had some beautiful experiences on mushrooms, noone wants to hear them, so I'm not going to tell them.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:52, Reply)
I can't work out how to get my best drug related anecdote into a story
As it's basically "I took drugs and went on public transport"
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:54, Reply)
mine is "I took drugs and sat in a tent, then I left and had hot chocolate"
or possibly "I took drugs, got paranoid then fell on my face"
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:55, Reply)
"I took drugs and thought I had no skeleton"
"I took drugs, had a very bad reaction, cried for 2 hours, and had a week-long comedown and fun with a kitchen knife"
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:56, Reply)
it can't be more boring
than my 'I took legal drugs and hallucinated some extra arms that strangled me'
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:57, Reply)
I found that quite interesting

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:58, Reply)
You're just hoping she will post a picure of her breasts

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:02, Reply)
do I look like snugglesacks?

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:02, Reply)
a part of you bears some resemblance to the only part of her I've seen a picture of

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:03, Reply)
I can see those on facebook

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:04, Reply)
I highly doubt
I've posted pictures of my breasts on facebook
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:06, Reply)
I didn't mean only your breasts
or your bare breasts

breasts
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:08, Reply)
I like breasts

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:08, Reply)
breasts!

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:08, Reply)
Boobs

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:09, Reply)
I just had a quick flick through
just in case.

I am massively unphotogenic :S and that includes my breasts
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:09, Reply)
No you're not
And I couldn't possibly comment.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:10, Reply)
Well it's either that or I'm fuck-ugly
so I'm sticking desperately to the unphotogenic excuse
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:11, Reply)
at least your eyes are open the same amount in most photos
I look like a one-eyed drunk most of the time.

either that or I look like I'm bellowing like the guy from 300.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:11, Reply)
THIS IS B3TA!

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:13, Reply)

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:13, Reply)
doesn't quite roll off the tongue

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:15, Reply)
see what I mean though
sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs425.snc4/46851_10150261798925532_537640531_14578042_7666490_n.jpg

I wasn't even drunk at that point
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:17, Reply)
I do see what you mean
perhaps you smile more with one side of your mouth than the other?

Compare some of my monstrosities though, and you'll see why I'm hoping desperately that I'm just unphotogenic, rather than actually looking like that
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:39, Reply)
I think it must be that my camera smile is lopsided
to set your mind at ease, you are not hideously ugly.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:45, Reply)
some people do just smile
with one side of their face. Especially for cameras, so it looks less like they're grinning
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:47, Reply)
Since Sonipshere I have been going for the serious rock face and gesture more often.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:50, Reply)
I would like to hear a mushroom story.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:55, Reply)
it's not particularly interesting unless we are both stoned and I can paint you a picture of what I was experiencing with words
and waving hand gestures.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:58, Reply)
One of us is stoned.
and going home- friday early finish! have a good one fuckers.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:58, Reply)
bastard
I'll tell you sometime. Can't be arsed to type it now.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:01, Reply)
have a good weekend dude.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:02, Reply)
cheers

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:03, Reply)
I sure do! please tell all.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:08, Reply)
is it sad that I did that on purpose?

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:09, Reply)
Perhaps just a little.

(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:11, Reply)
I don't care
because it amuses me
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 14:12, Reply)
It's nice to see some classy pandering.
Well done, sir.
(, Fri 17 Sep 2010, 13:48, Reply)
