Pathetic thread time!
So, who's spending the weekend in front of the computer working! yay! Who's gonna be joining me pressing F5 on O/T?
Should I get chips, now? I'm hungry.

I've just finished getting ready and my mate isn't up for going out now. Big homme. I think it's gonna be xbox, pizza and a movie tonight.
What would you have with the chips? Some people I know insist on cheese and gravy it looks vile.

thanks to PoD below
curry and sausage in batter
gravy and chips, no, cheese and chips, only if they are the kind of chips in a polystyrene tray
both together is madness

there's one down the road which offers TWO TYPES of curry. Now that's progress

Or practicing the drums. A local ceilidh band is looking for a drummer, so going to apply for that.
Yes, get chips now. Then get curry later.

You have indeed
Mapex VXB, with a set of entry level Zildjian ZXT cymbals. With upgraded skins and things, it's a pretty good kit for the price.

Sorry I'm a forgetful stoner.
I like Mapex kits, I was all geared up to buy one then a Tama Rockstar Custom sat in the corner of the showroom stole my eye. I sold it to buy a vintage premier which sounds so rich it's awesome. I use all Meinl cymbals now.

Do you favour wooden or steel/other for snare?
(
SteveFrench Cardio is for homo's. do you even lift bro?, Fri 24 Sep 2010, 18:20,

I'll probably go for wooden
I don't particularly like some of the overtones on metal snares.
I got my hands on an old 12" wooden snare a few weeks ago. Pretty rubbish, but I replaced the skins, removed the snares and fitted tom skins, so its a shallow tom now.

That sounds nice
I had a piccolo snare as a second for a time they are really punchy and zingy. Definitely not an all rounder snare. If I had the money I would be in the Birmingham Drum Centre buying lot's of new toys.
