I danced yesterday for the first time in aaaaages, I dislike dancing but it felt fucking amazing.
I keep spontaneously bursting out laughing too. I think I may be on the edge of a manic episode.

You can get quite cheap carpet from carpet shops.
It's not great but it will last a few years and you can replace each room when you can. Get a neutral colour too.
