I'kve trundled down from the far north - where rainbows are in black and white to visit the bright lights

What pubs are worth a visit in the east moorgate area with real ale and no marketing types..

And anyone want a mini bash?

Finding a pub in that area that isn't full of tossers is practically impossible,
I like The Griffin in Shoreditch (Leonard Street) - it's a dive, but it's my kind of dive. I think they have Doom Bar at least. Warning: the lavatories are disgusting.

I'm babysitting so I can't join you I'm afraid.

Not sure about Moorgate, but a quick search on beerintheevening.co.uk
Reveals that there is a pub called "The Rack and Tenter" in that area. Fnar fnar.

The far north for londoners is equivalent of north of stevenage
