Friday was good because I got home and it was warm and it stayed warm.
Saturday was good because I got my hair done and had a pint with my dad, then went for pizza and drinkies with some friends.
(But I realised I just ain't into going out and getting drunk anymore. I didn't drink enough to find the night wonderful or find other people bearable!)
Today I felt meh and another leak sprang up in the bathroom. It stressed me only mildly until I bumped into the landlord and mentioned it in passing so as not to piss him or his wife off (yeah, I know!) but his reaction was cunty and hurtful.
So I'm now tempted to take a hosepipe to the bathroom skirting gaps just to teach the old cunts.
I went to my mums and had a really lovely day with the baby. He was 'talking' to me so much and laughing, and every time I stopped singing 'I Love to Singa' he got upset. So I sang and sang and made up songs and made him laugh.

You always seem to have problems with your plumbing.

I love it when landlords get annoyed
when you ask them perfectly reasonable things

See, because we've become friends over the years
they're not just crap at being landlords, now they're kind of emotionally blackmailing/bullying.
Even my dad shouted at me today because he'ssick of my moaning.
I feel like Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby!!

Haha, I knows it!
Ooh, speaking of drinks, my folks bought me and djtp some gorgeous red wine glasses as an engagement present.
I now have proper lovely red wine, white wine and champagne glasses.
My list is complete. Im not arsed about the quality of my tumblers or mugs and I already have a lovely old china dinner service.

That place also had a blocked chimney that made it fail the gas safety inspection.
That never got fixed either.

we had one letting agency
who saw no problems with the beetle infestation (there when we moved in), 2/3 of the kitchen walls black with damp (started shortly after we moved in) or the fact that when we called environmental health in, they were appalled by the above, plus the terrible wiring.

Is there a landlord in the world who isn't a cunt?
(except for my dad obviously)
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 18:34, Reply)
we had one I felt sorry for
she was nice, but try as we might, we still left the place in a worse state than we started
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 18:37, Reply)
Our current letting agency are either ace or useless.
They'll either fix something ridiculously quick or distance themselves and deny all responsibility.
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 18:41, Reply)
Yeah, there was this one in Liverpool called Dave Doyle
I dunno if he's still about but he was ace.
He'd let himself in and invite himself for coffee, but he always responded to calls and he never molested anybody.
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 18:39, Reply)
I thought molesting people was one of the perks of the job.
Or maybe that's just my dad.
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 18:41, Reply)
Just looked up Dave's old property company
Turns out they were linked to an international drug-runner and a Kenyan corruption case.
Well I liked them.

*checks to see if Dave has any flats going in Newcastle*
