Waste of money
I once paid a small fortune to a solicitor in a legal case. She got lost on the way to court, turned up late with the wrong papers and started an argument with the judge, who told her to "shut up, for the love of God". A stunning investment.
Thanks to golddust for the suggestion

Not so

Sounds pithy, but perhaps you should elaborate
Personally, I think money is a marvellous way of storing time and ensuring ones talents and labours aren't wasted.
No other species has money as no other species has the intelligence that humans do.
Do you really think money ruins human life? I'd have to disagree; money allows progress, it allows success based on attributes other than the physical and it is the primary reason society, and individuals, can develop.
I like having money - it reflects my abilities and status, and allows me to exchange my time for pleasant living.

I have reflected on this often
We essentially rent out our body and our life to other people for a few dollars an hour. I don't understand why some get upset because a whore rents hers out for $100's per hour. If you steal from a whore, it is rape, yet our government forcibly takes (through tax and child support)and that is not slavery or rape, yet you essentially have just had to rent our body out to pay the bill. So basically we are all prositutes except for those on welfare, living on the proceeds of prostitution, so they must be the pimps then?
Sometimes I think as a species we would be better off as animals where the strong and adaptable survive and prosper, not as we currently are with a few select calling the shots and using their legalised mob and hitmen to run the show.

I'm sure somebody who knows about these things could elucidate
but it seems to me that the first and most important reason for money is the creation and maintenance of central control via a treasury and taxation. It also allows the central power to spend the value of it's treasure, while keeping the treasure, which is a neat trick.
It's very handy in day to day use, but we'd get buy without money, it's them who'd be fucked. The ruling classes...the lizard people...them.

I agree.
Everyone with money is beautiful, charismatic and intelligent, so they deserve everything. Everyone without money is ignorant, deformed and racist, so they should be kept in their place and stamped on till they shut up. Unless they're in the BNP or the EDL, in which case they should be tacitly encouraged, or at least not punished as severely as the other peasants. I talked to one of those awful ethnic people the other day, and would you believe it, the pesky blighter couldn't even tell the difference between Chateau Grisey 1996 and Chateau Grisey 1997, even though one had obviously been pressed by a majority of left-footed peasants and the other one hadn't! Makes me glad I voted Tory in the last election, can't have too many plebs like that running around unchecked.
