I have found that in my ICB job the less I read my emails or bother to turn up to meetings the more important everyone seems to think I am

How to drive my new car.
I've driven automatics before, but it'll take a bit of readjustment.
(, Wed 22 Jan 2025, 18:26, Reply)
OK clearly you want to tell us what your new car is but for some reason you're being coy about it.
Just tell us, we won't think any less of you.
(, Wed 22 Jan 2025, 18:48, Reply)
I was just a bit spooked when I googled it after putting the deposit down,
and that EXACT CAR was the 2nd result. It's dropped off now it's not for sale though. Jaguar XE R-Sport saloon, 2019, low mileage. Nicest car I've ever owned, even if I'll be paying off the loan for the next 5 years.
(, Wed 22 Jan 2025, 19:05, Reply)
Very nice, I wanted a Jaguar X something after seeing one that was parked next to me once but could only afford a clapped out BMW 3 series at the time.
And I wouldn't worry about someone using that information to track you down and dox you, everyone seems very sane and friendly here.
(, Wed 22 Jan 2025, 20:48, Reply)
Can confirm.

(, Wed 22 Jan 2025, 20:58, Reply)
Funnily enough we were looking at a clapped out 3 series for under £5k
but I had an M3 years ago, great car but the running costs were atrocious so we decided to treble the budget for a car that will probably cost less in the long run.
(, Wed 22 Jan 2025, 22:08, Reply)
My sister had an XE, just the diesel one
it was very nice indeed.

We have a black Vauxhall Indignia with a diddy petrol engine. It looks like a cheap, unlicenced taxi. The kind of car you describe to the police when you're being interviwed about the disappearance of a vulnerable friend.

Everyone seems to miss the part when we bought a Honda Accord in New Zealand.
It was already notorious around these parts, I could never satisfactorily explain to my wife why having one was so funny.

In all honestly I don't really understand it either, I've never been clear what the joke is. Shitty old man's car? Too nondescript to find again once you've parked it?

Taught myself PHP a while ago, now there's no point.
Just ask ChatGPT "Give me the php code to display this information from my database in this format" or whatever and it does it for you

I just torrented Alien Autopsy - Fact or Fiction, hosted by Johnathon Frakes, and it came with 4 bonus mp3s of conspiracy theory radio for absolutely free.
