I'm dumping Spotify, looks like we're getting Apple Music
Spotify playlists are full of production house tracks now, Spotify pays less for them so they push them into everything, at this point it's already well on its way to becoming an AI slop streaming service.

It's good if you know what you want to listen to
so it makes it easy to explore artist's catalogues. It's also a good way to share playlists but yes, it is dreadful for musicians.

I’ve not used Spotify in years but their recommendation algorithm was always one of the better ones.
With Apple it’s more predictable, like you’ll play a Super Furry Animals track and the next will be Gruff Rhys - which is fine, but I want to discover new bands that might have similarities.
