My parents have put a hit out on the magpie gang in the garden
they've offered a young lad access to a .410 shotgun (from a neighbour with no license who uses it to shoot rats) and a bounty if he can kill any of the flock of magpies who are taking over the garden. Apparently if you string up a magpie carcass the rest of them stay away. I don't think this will happen but I can imagine reading about it in the local newspaper...

Any gang related violence happening near you?

I live in Bristol so yes, there's gang related violence nearby. Mostly eastern European gangs, according to a cop I know.
I'm sure this is far less interesting than whatever that stuff you just said about magpies is, though.

There's been a turf war between magpies and seagulls in my garden for years
The magpies are currently winning, but Igor is apparently on the seagull's side, because he's killed 3 magpies in less than a month.
