Hands up who's lurking and can't be arsed to reply anymore? Without lovely, lovely feedback it's not surprising people can't be arsed to post pictures. Come on, it's a Thursday with a new image challenge, this place should be going like shit off a shovel :(

I'm here most of the time
but I don't see why I should bother posting anymore, this place is so fucking clique it's not even funny.

I think that's just because it's one small group holding the place together/keeping posting
the only way to diversify and break any sense of a clique is to encourage more posting

"holding the place together"
small group holding court more like.

Me, Dave, Bill, Fred...
Someone's brother-in-law, and a plumber.

Most forums I read are slower than they used to be, not just b3ta.
My theories are either that people prefer to share a joke or opinion on Twitter because they prefer the speed of that, or that simply forums tend to grow up with their users.
I'd imagine that the average b3tan age is probably 30-something now, an age where you tend to also lose interesting friends in the real world to marriage, babies and mortgage talk.

I think Twitter is to blame for the lack of chit chat
I still don't see the appeal of the damn thing though

I think people like its speed,
though I personally prefer forums precisely because they are slower and so you usually get more thought-out conversations.

Yep true.
My other forums have slowed right down, I put it down to Twitter and Reddit.
yup twitter for me, I'd rather post there than here.

I don't really get twitter
Seems to be all footballers slagging each other off and getting into trouble for it

there's a lot of funny out there as well
don't use twitter for sport and my following celebrities is limited. I just spew my caustic opinion on what's on my tv, and post pictures. it's a bit like being on /board/talk without the wankers

The stream of consciousness element of Twitter is still quite bewildering to me.
I don't really give a fuck what some random person is looking at/eating/thinking about doing right now. I use it, but mostly just to keep up with bands, artists, directors and TV shows I admire/enjoy.
