# UPDATE:
Cat not actually dead, but at the vets. Missing body parts and not very well at all.
Went round to the house and gave my name and address. Apparently the dogs also attacked a bloke further up the street before I got there. Police are driving round the streets looking for the kids as we speak.

# I for one
am feeling better at that news. Just a bit.

# That cat
has used up 8 lives today I think. Looked a right mess.

# really sucks
the only justice would be for the dogs to attack the kids who let them hurt the cat.

# Poor thing...
...I used to get called names at school cos some people I knew took pleasure in shooting cats with air guns.

{edit} part of me wishes I hadn't read this now cos I have a tear in my eye. I'm a soft bloke really when it comes to cats. I cried for three straight days when mine died... I was 11 at the time like

# As i was walking up to my house this evening
I could see a mother pushing a pram with a wee baby in it and a friend/relative of hers walking alongside with a huge black rottweiller, as I got closer i realised it wasn't on a lead and wondered how safe that kid was if they ever leave the dog alone with it. The weirdest part was as I was walking from somewhere the (walking into a dark forest alone in a horror film) music started playing and getting louder as i got closer.
Thankfully i got to my steps just before we reached each other.

I really don't like dogs but have a soft spot for cats. This just reinforces those feelings.

# I was going to
defend dogs, but it's hard after tomsk's experience today :-(.

# Not the dogs fault.
They're bred to kill stuff about the size of a cat. Dogs need proper discipline and good owners. And those kids were not that type. They should punish the owners, not the dogs.

# The owners are liable
for dogs as they are seen as possessions (?) - certainly cats are classed as free agents and are not expected to be under human control.
Which is probably a good thing. My cats aren't even under cat control. They are well stupid :)

# Good
call.
Stuff like this makes me wish I was a bionic ninja superhero.
Actually, I just wish I was a bionic ninja superhero anyway. That would rule.

# Little fuckers..
Makes you wish that lashing were legal (or you could find them, and flay the skin off their backs)

Little fuckers need to learn some maners, had a problem in Bristol where some kids went running around the countryside slashing up horses because obviously only rich people could ever afford horses.

Strangley enough most of the horse owners I know (myself included) have little or no money, so it really sucks when some little scrote goes leaving you with a horse thats now terrified of people and a 1k vets bill.

# There's a particular strain
of kids all over this country who have absolutely no respect, discipline or consideration. The schools can't do anything for fear of being sued, the parents couldn't give a fuck - they're just meal-vouchers to them, and the police couldn't fucking care less. I despise the little cunts and am quite prepared to make my feelings perfectly apparent if I ever get picked on, regardless of the consequences.
