this word is based on an old scottish law. It stands for 'Fornication (sex) Under Consent of the King' meaning that someone had to ask the king before they could sleep with a noble/rich person. 100% Fact. I swear this is true. I learnt it from my health ed teacher last year.

...it's an old word, so it's highly unlikely to be an acronym.
I don't know what the name golf means originally, but there were apparently lots of similar old Scottish names for games like golf before they evolved into the game we know today.
