# Afternoon all.
I've been gone for a bit - off at university - but I just thought I'd try this quick experiment out on you.

It's a very quick and rough attempt at 3D flash - let me know whether a) you can see it and b) the perspective looks okay. I realise the art is terrible - it's just a quick proof of concept.

To view it, just cross your eyes until the two images merge into one.

[Edit: thank you, lovely people!]

# my eyes

tip-top stereoscoping sir

i'm lazy and just used swift 3d. it's not really 3d then:

# top stuff.
Make more, but naughty stuff.

# That's very clever

# It's not far off....
It is definitely 3D, but only about 98% correct.

I bet it was bloody hard work though! Well done.

# Proximal viewing you mean
Yeah, it kinda works..... a couple of bits look a bit "wrong"

but wooyay well done anyway.

Edit:No, it aint proximal is it? It's the other way... I can't do it the other way very well.

# what am i sposed to see
apart from one blurrier picture rather than 2 clear ones?

# ooh
it does work... but when i end up with my eyes crossed, i see three of them. the two originals and the 3d one in the middle...

would like to see it with more contrasting colours too, to emphasise the 3dness...

interesting experiment.

# Yeh Me Too
I can see three, or sometimes four - depending on how crossed my eyes are. Mind you, my eyesite is duff at the best of times:(

# oo!
background works well but things get a little confusing when the ufo passes the orbiting-thing.

*tries to adjust eyes again*

# very nice
took me a while to sort out me eyes - but it does work!

# Aye
that works. Very clever stuff!

# 'tis rather spiffingly good old chap
but better to do 3d like that with thin strips then you can do the magic eye thing & keep focus
(, Mon 17 Nov 2003, 12:49, archived)
# i can see what you're trying to do there
but it didn't look very 3d to me. The stars did look like they were behind the sun, but as the blue planet went around, it sort of just became 2 planets at the far edges, and never really appeared to get nearer.
