I tried to draw a bike once... It's so much harder than it looks
edit: you're using illustrator aren't you? It looks like you have a much better understanding of gradient mesh tools than i could ever hope to achieve

I made the exact same animation for a dance compo here several moons ago, but got thoroughly bored with it and stopped.

It's Flash, which is cludjier, I think, but it's meant to animate eventually so I'm being bloody-minded and playing around a lot with the gradient manipulator and clawing my way around the limitations of gradient on gradient...
