# Getting started on a project:

The next bit involves a 'fist full of Coldrex', which I think must be medication of some sort; I love mystery.

EDIT:/So no hints on the 'Coldrex', heh? It's a Dolby song, thought that it might have been a cultural thing.

# Allow me to say

I tried to draw a bike once... It's so much harder than it looks

edit: you're using illustrator aren't you? It looks like you have a much better understanding of gradient mesh tools than i could ever hope to achieve

# wow.
I made the exact same animation for a dance compo here several moons ago, but got thoroughly bored with it and stopped.

well done for the patience.
(, Thu 19 May 2005, 11:18, archived)
# Actually
It's Flash, which is cludjier, I think, but it's meant to animate eventually so I'm being bloody-minded and playing around a lot with the gradient manipulator and clawing my way around the limitations of gradient on gradient...

Thanks again!

# Woo!
For people who understand the gradient mesh tool.

So far I have managed to make some reasonably convincing cartoon clouds (which lookes shat really, if I'm honest...)

# The annoying thing about bikes is,
It hurts when you get taken out by a blind car driver who is on the phone/reading a map/doing their makeup/having a shave.
Just because some motorcyclists are donor cards in leathers, it doesn't mean we all are ;)

But since it's a resumption of a project I started half a lifetime ago (80's) it was probably influenced by something older anyway.

So that part is about really being ill, then the vomit bit that comes later is real; so odd that it's such a romantic song, but then I do wonder about my ex's migraines and does she have someone to squeeze her skull when it needs it, so that's romantic, then.

Thanks for the key to deeper WTF!

(song == "Weightless" /Thomas Dolby)
