I'm using Visual Basic Express 2005
In fact the same project as when I did that Hal 9000 thingy that was on the front page in the Office Art compo.

TOAP seems to me like a very flimsy excuse to mock a picture.
Very flimsy indeed.

It can be justified
If both pic and text are crap and/or unfunny.

I have no grievance against toap in general
It's the "20 seconds per entry on a new thread" frigging dialog boxes that are vexing me.
Click it, click it, click it. Who knows, if it front pages, they may be embarrassed into stopping.

I keep telling myself that.
It's how I cope with the grief of not FP'ing.

There's fuck all wrong with text on a picture
if it's done properly, with the right font and fits in with the general theme of the picture.

Funny and toap are not mutually exclusive.

At the risk of sounding like every other forum-poster:
If you don't like it, you know where the door is. You aren't a mod, and those that are have not removed the entries. It is not against any rules. Bitching about it, and creating a new thread to whinge about pushing work off the board, is nothing more than a flimsy excuse to say "LOOK AT ME, I DON'T LIKE THIS, I AM SO DIFFERENT AND QUIRKY!"
