sadly, there's a huge difference between making a little program over the weekend for just myself to use and finishing off a proper application with a better interface than holding down a variety of keys to enter different editing modes.

For a start, I currently have to edit the source code to load different files!

Also available in The GIMP - believe it or not. Probably not - but true!

GIMP: Filters/Artistic/GIMPressionist, then
Brush: Shape02.pgm, Size: Adaptive, Max size: 15, Min size: 0, Colour: Average under brush. Stroke density: 28 (for example).
