# GAH!!
fecking theatres!!
trelly, do you know what a VAC pump is?
(, Tue 13 Nov 2007, 15:32, archived)
# I'm guessing a suction unit of some description
For doing evacuations. Unless it's an IVAC unit - old infusion pump model?
(, Tue 13 Nov 2007, 15:33, archived)
# no, a vac pump is for wound suction.
the fucks in theatres haven't put the dressing properly and it's alarming,
it's highly invasive so they did'nt want to have to redo it,
and no amount of me telling them 'it's alarming check dressing' will convince them it's not the pump!
(, Tue 13 Nov 2007, 15:36, archived)
# Oh, those!
We've only got about two, so I tend to forget about them!

Theatres are generally pretty crap at knowing anything. Does your maternity unit have a habit of dropping things as well?

We went to fireworks display with a War of the Worlds theme. It was ace. They lit the bonfire by pouring kerosene all over it then setting off a shitload of fireworks while a guy stuck a flaming brand in the bottom. Like this:
