And my fave one by friends who had a go at this b3ta mini challenge was by Shalroth and was this one: www.b3ta.com/board/8327817 which I just fell in love with, but to anyone else, do feel free to post yours in this thread! :D

# OH IT'S A DUCK!
Ducks are awesome in any circumstances.

# I'm going to do one of these
Not today, not tomorrow but SOON

I love them - and that one :D
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:30, archived)
# Aaah man they're all so good.
Well done that man.

# QUACK

# i love these
i only just saw the giraffe which is fab.

also do they work the other way round, real head toy body.
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:31, archived)
# I don't think they would.
It'd be interesting to see though.
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:32, archived)
# Maybe give it a try, but as the head is always the main focus, it seems to make more sense this way for the cute factor
the other way around would probably be a lot more disturbing, tho I guess it depends upon the animals original cuteness.

It would work with pandas, but not sharks, for example!
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:36, archived)
# It'll help if the animal has a neck too.
I'd like to see you do a snake.
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:36, archived)
# Toyheaded or toybodied?
I have been thinking of doing a toyheaded snake, it would be a challenge I think...
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:41, archived)
# nearly
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:44, archived)
# Nicely done,
but you see, that to me looks a bit creepy, like those poor animals that get anthropomorphised (haven't looked up spelling) by their slightly mentally ill owners, but still, thanks to the cuteness factor of both the cat and plush, it kinda works, doesn't it?
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:54, archived)
# kinda.
i will try another.
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 13:00, archived)
# Go for it!
I think I will try a snake, wish me luck! ;)
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 13:02, archived)
# I also just saw the giraffe
and it is splendid.
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:41, archived)
# Everyone loves the Giraffe!
That was a request by my good friend Shalroth, so credit due, and I rushed it a bit too!
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:44, archived)
# it's the perspective
It adds an extra dimension!
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:45, archived)
# Yeh, I was looking for a duck picture that did the same,
but alas, no...
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:57, archived)
# You are on to uber win with these...

EDIT why don't you knock a couple of 'em down to 280 wide so they're FPable?
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:31, archived)
# Most of the earlier ones are, but I think they look better larger, plus I don't think they're really FP material,
tho I could always stick Happytoast's tag on one and see if I could fool 'em! ;)

If I make another tall creature I'll bear it in mind, but I really don't think it's gonna happen with these, FP stuff looks for LOL factor and these are more Aaaw-Want...
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:50, archived)
# Yeah but they are also pretty novel and very well executed.
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:52, archived)
# these are all brilliant.
:D
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:31, archived)
# This is a brilliant one-man-bandwaggon!
I showed Lady Doom my panda attempt and she couldn't spot what I'd done to it... :\
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:31, archived)
# My first go was the same, so I looked for a way less realistic panda head
and that's what made it work, altho then you get the problem that the body looks pretty plushy anyway.

It is a little tricky...
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:37, archived)
# Slightly hindered in my case by the fact that I'm still learning how to use the Gimp as well...
I shall have to look for some good toys methinks...
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:40, archived)
# Source is all with these,
as I say, it is a bit tricky...
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:58, archived)
# I am adoring these
Please continue doing them :)
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:31, archived)
# these are so much fun
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:32, archived)
# YAYDUX!
(, Tue 29 Apr 2008, 12:38, archived)
# These are genius.
Best stuff I've seen here in ages!
