You're very right to have gathered that I would notice you not asking, but you underestimate quite how analytic I am and I had already concluded you weren't going to ;)
I just wanted to respond to the wrong you do me in assuming it would be the same ol' mutton I was peddling, but I can assure you that I play the part for fun, I'm not actually the insecure and attention-seeking girl-on-the-net people like to believe.

It took four hours to do, and even then the face changes every time I redraw it. I didn't feel like I nailed the limbs, and my perspective is pretty shoddy. Apart from that, I was happy with it ;)
I'm very picky with my own work when I'm making an effort.

and have no fear I fully understand how you feel after putting hours and hours into this kind of thing. Especially when many people won't initially see why things take so long.
It's a fantastically well rendered comic and I look forward to the rest.
The only slight issue I have is that being a child of the 70's and the comic books of that era I can't look at a page of this without getting "Rupert the Bear" in my head.

Fair point! Just imagine that this is like Rupert the bear except with violence and Victorian-themed insults.
