used to get to go and have swimming lessons at the posh school because they had a pool...

of a divide as it would seem. However /talk did estrange themselves from here as soon as they had the opportunity and started to regard /board as something lesser ( whilst glossing over the fact that it was their total inability to use photoshop for producing anything remotely boardworthy that caused them to yammer utter shite to each other all day flooding the old /board that caused the divide initially ) and of course every now and again some prick decides to make a shitty, provocative image and post it here after telling all the other pricks first and so we have this.
One idiot trying to cause trouble on an account he could not give a toss if it were burned and all the sheep following saying "ooh baldmonkey, you're so clever"
Nobody here likes to talk any more than me but the reason I spend little time on the talk board is that not too many of them are as intellectual, mature or clever as they would like to appear.

except mine wasn't as eloquent.
It's like the /talkers equivalent of "knock down ginger"* when they do this.
*or whatever it was called in your neck of the woods

You would kick out a few teeth regardless.
Knock down ginger is when you knock on the door and run away.

My parents had a better variation when they were younger.
They used to live in a narrow street. They would tie a piece of string to the door handle of one house, cross to the opposite side of the road and tie the other end of the string to another house. Then they would simulataneously knock on both doors and scarper.

I realise you can't see this, which is a shame.

There's a few morons over there but I find it much more brainworthy than here. They're capable of more than CDCs and "hahaahahaha woo/yay" etc

Though claiming that CDCs and haha are the top drawer of /board is like claiming that aging 4chan text memes are the top drawer of /talk. It's a poor exercise all round.

and I've had some wonderful nettimes on this board. Just there's a whole lot of dross too, which sometimes seems to overshadow the talent a little

But as I said and stand by, not nearly as many of them are as clever as they would like to think. I don't think that is an unfair statement.
Certainly when the few that were intelligent enough to get a job that allows them to sit on the internet have gone home for the day /talk usually degenerates into nothing more than people discussing the merits of the last biscuit they ate.
