If all else fails
I'll watch it for her deliciousness. If it's good, I'll watch it for the actual programme.
It could be good- all the naysayers really don't know any better than you or I do. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

I'm so glad someone finally asked that question.
I haven't dared...

I just googled her,
and it appears she was in some of Peep Show. Clearly her appearances passed me by. Either that, or she isn't that special :)

Mind you, what do I know. I also thought the Young Ones wasn't very funny

In fairness, it suffered from the same issues.
It's modern heresy to say such things, though.

the novelty was ok for the first two series
but it was just that, a novelty. It never really felt consistent to me,
and the humour often fell flat or on tired old cliches, just adapted for the sci-fi element.
The characters were all a bit one-dimensional as well.

Hmm I do agree to an extent
The first two or three series were very well done, and then four and five had some great moments and one-liners. But there never was any consistency with the storylines except the main one that they were trying to get back to Earth.
Problem is, they're now gonna get to Earth at Easter. :(

Thus proving my superior taste in all matters
what with it being the arse cake of the devil, promising us goodness with its pink and yellow soft squares of delicious sponge, only to be protected by the evil incarnate that is marzipan, which permeates the entire thing with a taste of pure unadulterated hatred

I agree with you on the marzipan, but find Red Dwarf highly entertaining
Though it's not as though I'm particularly important enough for that statement to carry any weight.
